Augie's Pizza

This place is freaking amazing they have the best and most amazing Gluten Free pizza and their toppings are so fresh! My friend didn't and couldn't even tell the pizza was gluten free! I didn't even tell him he just started eating the pizza and said it was the best pizza he has ever had and the sauce was amazing no wonder this place had won best sauce! Everyone must come here and keep this place in business!

Brought great memories and smell was spot on and ‼ Worth the visit and will remember to come back...The staff was kind and gracious to us as we explained our 2 hr. Journey to find it... Nice food choices ‼

Arrived around 5:30PM to dine in. There were three of us. There were already two parties waiting at the host stand. I assumed they had already been helped, but after waiting about five minutes, found that that was not the case. An employee (seemed like a manager) finally came over to the host stand asked each of the parties how many and sat the first two parties. Then...nothing. Kept standing by the host stand expecting the employee to either come back to take us to a table or to tell us that we'd have to wait. He did neither. We sat down and waited another 15 minutes, but it felt like we had been straight up forgotten, so we left.It's a shame, because their pizza is quite good but not good enough to tolerate poor customer service.

Online noted that Augie's was open on Sunday. Well, the dining room didn't open until 4 p.m. every day. This was our first time here. The restaurant is family owned, and the dining room is very nice. It had a modern decor with a large wine display up front. We'll have to come back for the eat-in experience. Today, we had to order a pizza to go. There is a bench to sit and wait, which we did. People kept coming in for pickup. The place was busy with carry outs, so we knew the pizza was going to be really good. The cashier was very helpful between customers and the phone ringing. Staff may have been sparse, but they kept everything moving well. Our pizza with crust, sauce and toppings was delicious. If you stop in you can pick up a to-go menu.

We ordered take out on their website. The process was pretty easy, but the result not so much. I ordered white sauce and when we got home, there was red sauce on the pizza. It probably would have been really good with the white sauce, but a bit of a disappointment as it turned out.

This is the best little pizza place around! The staff & owner are always friendly and they also have a great bourbon selection :0)Love to get pepperoni & green olives on their pizza!!! Yummy

Augie's is our favorite pizza place and had been for decades. But pizza isn't the only thing they do well. All their good is delicious and fresh and the service is great. If we travel and get pizza we always say " but it's not Augies!"

Ordered the Large The Regular & their cheesy breadsticks!!! Wanted to compare it with Grand Valley House Of Pizza!!! Although the pizza was alright, it just wasn't as good!!! Breadsticks weren't that good!!! Just had carry out, but the pizza was ready & personal we're friendly!!! Dining room didn't open until 4 pm, but counter & floor were clean!!!

One area I would recommend improvement on is the continual yelling, and barking of orders. The interior provides a "homelike" ambiance but the aforementioned issues really disrupts the feeling. It was like being on Hells Kitchen. Support passion but tone it down!

Food at Augies is always great however we went there tonight and nobody even acknowledged us to seat us at a table - I asked the kids behind the the counter and he told us to go stand by the hostess stand we waited 5 minutes and not one person addressed us. Multiple staff looked at us nobody spoke to us.
