Wow! This place is great! I've been here before and had forgotten how good the food is here! For me the best part was how scorching hot and fresh the pizza came out. There is nothing like burning the roof of your mouth on fresh pizza out of the oven! Very tasty and fresh. Had a small meat pizza and a small veggie pizza. They were both delightful! I also appreciated the variety of cold brews and they even serve it to you in a frosted glass which is a nice extra touch. Staff was friendly and prompt even tho it was busy. The place was warm and inviting it felt like an upscale pizza shop. I can't wait to return!

My family and I stopped in for a pizza this past Sunday and Augie's did not disappoint!! We had two kinds of pizza, one traditional pepperoni and sausage the other was all veggie on a gluten free cauliflower crust for my daughter who is allergic to gluten. Both pizzas were excellent! We did potato cup appetizers and salads too, and enjoyed every bit of it! Our server Neal was attentive, but not intrusive, and got to chat with the third generation owner Joe for a minute. Augie's has always been a favorite of mine dating back to the original Warrensville Hts. store. Our experience certainly lived up to my childhood memories!!Thanks for a great meal and a wonderful evening!

Let me start by apologizing to Augies. It's been far long that I've neglected writing about this southwest suburban gem. When we lived in Parma we went there often. It's been a long time since we've been there and all can say is, "Shame on me." This place has consistently served homemade quality Italian food (not just pizza) for years. The pizza is very cheesy with the good stuff that can stretch for miles. The crust is perfect, not overly doughy or too thin. Tonight we got Cavatelli with meat sauce. I don't often find meat sauce that I enjoy more than mine. The sauce was loaded with meat and was on the sweet side. Delicious! Also, the sauce wasn't the usual take out "orange water and tomato chunks. It kept a good thick consistency that was perfect for sopping up with the garlic bread that comes with it. I will have to come back sooner!

One of the simplest ways to determine how solid a kitchen is is whether they can they do the basics well, i.e. can they fry in a way that food is not overcooked and fries (for instance) are actually crisp--or at least firm and not soggy. Augies was 0 for 2 on this (our second) visit. The wings were a good color but very tough from overcooking. The fries were soggy sticks of something I'd rather not eat again. Service was very professional and friendly, but the food was subpar enough that we won't be going back a third time.

Sorry I didn't get any pictures but WOW! This place was phenomenal, from the excellent service from Neal, to the delicious meatball subs with fries. Our overall experience was great but we give it 4 stars because I messaged them Sunday late morning to get a wine list and they sent one promptly but didn't tell me that they aren't able to serve wine on Sundays. They do have a great beer selection and even offer a hard cider.Other than that one thing we were pleasantly pleased with this hidden gem;we will return but on a different day if we want wine

Their margarita pizza is the best around. We've tried every restaurant in the area that serves pizza and Augies version is the very best. It has tons of cheese and lots of fresh basil. The tomatoes are diced and are the perfect size for this pizza. The crust is light and crispy with just enough "chewiness". I dare you to find a better margarita pizza anywhere in the area!!!
