Very nostalgic for me! Mom always ordered this as kids for the family and I moved away 23 years ago and it's still just as delicious as the last time I remember. Definitely ordering again

My family orders from here at least once a week, delivery,the pizza is always hot and fresh delicious. Today I ordered hot wings along with our usual half sheet.... Let me tell you, those were the best wings. The service is always fast and friendly, really nice people. Ambiance it was delivered but I'm sure it is amazing just like the service and food! Thank you guys for all of your hard work. Keep it up! I can't wait to have some more wings!!!!

Best old Skool pizza on the west side! Bold claim acknowledged. Alas, there is much to love in (1) pricing (2) baking (3) ingredients. Remember this is pizza, not lobster; it's supposed to feed a crowd in minimal time & money. (1) A 16" cheese pie is $13 & a half sheet cheese is $15. That's a lotta pizza! Pro tip: $2 off XL rounds on Thursdays! (2) Athens bakes the pizza till the cheese is evenly brown & gooey - the best! (3) They don't skimp on toppings when you order a variety and their sausage is THE BEST sausage in the city! It's flavorful, a lil spicy, a lil bit oily & finely ground* for incredible distribution over your glorious pie. (*expect a couple big chunks too - pop those right into your mouth hole before you bring the pizza inside to your loving family). This is an old Skool pizza joint in a somewhat forgotten part of Cleveland on Dennison. Don't expect anything from the outside but you know what *they* say about books and cover bands. If you end up arriving early for your order, take solace in the gentle truth that Athens has your urges covered with a classic pinball machine to keep you on your toes so you can stay alert for the free authentic smells.

Maybe I got lucky, or maybe the 1 star reviews are blown out of proportion but I had a great experience at Athens . This is an old school "meat and potatoes" kind of pizza place. If you're looking for some premium toppings and artisanal pies you're in the wrong place. At Athens you should probably stick to a cheese/pep/supreme kind of pizza My pepperoni pizza was ready for pick up in 20 min, pepperoni was crispy, perfect amount of cheese, crust was crispy but not overdone. All around a great experience

Been,buying pizza here for 20 years.and just recently its terrible. Its plain lousy. I wont buy here anymore. And unless you like terrible pizza you shouldn't buy here either.

This place is AWESOME. The pizza is amazing and the owner is so sweet. They also don't cater to DoorDash or Uber so they CARE about your order and appreciate the business. These low star reviews are appalling--I go here ALL the time and have never once had a bad experience. 10 outta 10, WOULD RECOMMEND!

We got a two small pizzas, one cheese one custom. The cook of the pizza medium soft and filling. The wings were sadly all drumsticks and no flats.

I ordered two Italian sausage sub and they both were large that came with really little pieces on the sub. The cheese was really burnt to where you couldn't tell it was cheese. And the bread was so hard it felt like I was eating pizza crust. Had to put some ham gravy on it to soften it up. I also ordered mozzarella sticks and they were hollow no cheese in them. I will never order subs again only pizza.

Best pizza in the Cleveland area. Always order a half sheet for the browns game. It always delivers.
