It's a no for me. My guilty pleasure is sneaking in a delicious General Tso Chicken, but I feel like the food here just isn't worth the time. I wasn't really sure what I wanted at this food court so I opted for this place. Got myself a 2-choice meal (two mail meats) and unfortunately it just wasn't good. It tasted very old... reheated from the day before with an aftertaste of old oil as well. I don't expect too much when it comes to fast Chinese, but I do want food that doesn't taste days old. On top of that they asked what sauces I wanted, and said hot sauce and they charged me $.60 cents for it. No big deal, but does make you say, really? For a tablespoon of hot sauce? Anyways, stick with the teriyaki chicken next door and skip this one.

On July 2, I ate at there Beachwood Place Mall location. First of all, all the servers and the food prep staff wore their masks UNDER their nose. Second, except for the young man at the register (who did wear his mask correctly), all the servers were downright nasty to every customer. They tried to give smaller portions to people who order more expensive options, and they slopped all the food on top of each other in the box. By the way, the boxes are appreciably smaller than they were before the pandemic, and the prices are higher. Third, the food tasted blah at best. It was merely warm, and every item tasted the same. The noodles were overdone and gummy. All in all, Asian Chao needs to take lessons from Panda Express for how to run a fast food Chinese restaurant from training their people to preparing food.

Went while shopping and decided to grab something. They were really low on bourbon chicken, leaving none for the people behind me. When I opened my to go order in the car, they had given me the wrong order! I never really trusted their system when paying. At least the staff were nice!

Stopped in for lunch last Friday and I was surprised there weren't more restaurants in the mall food court. I went ahead and tried the Orange Chicken with noodles and vegetables. It was a pretty decent portion, enough to fill me up, but it wasn't like other food court Chinese dives I've been to in terms of quantity. At other places, I have received two pounds of food that I couldn't finish.I appreciate the thoughtfulness, however. I don't need to gorge myself by allowing my eyes to be bigger than my stomach and eating everything in sight. Most Americans eat whatever is in front of them and that's a huge problem!Anyway, I doubt that I'll make the trip back tot his food court due to the lack of selection and this Chinese food being just average. It cost $8.00 for the meal, whereas I can get the same for $5.00 at other malls, plus more food.

I ordered the three entree combo with fried rice and a fountain drink. It was all delicious. I tried the orange chicken, crab rangoon, and Kung pao chicken as my entrees. The crab Rangoon and orange chicken particularly stood out. I'm really glad I ate here.

Beware the bait and switch pricing tactics.Located on the low rent side of the Beachwood Mall food court, Asian Chao offers a subpar take on the Food Court Chinese genre. Portions are small and the Orange Chicken was dry from having sat in the warming tray too long.As for the bait and switch, I ordered the daily special, which was "2 items for 5.99". When I got to the register, they charged me 6.99 and said I had received a "full order" of chicken and didn't qualify for the special. I argued, but they wouldn't relent. Now, they can enjoy a "full order" of the loss of my patronage. A more apt title would have been Asian Ciao.(And lest anyone think I'm just unlucky, i heard a family seated next to me complaining of an identical price switch on their order.)

Price has gone up to $15 for two meats and a side. Absolutely not! Today was my last time going there. Staff is very unfriendly, and the food just isn't that good. I have loved burbon chicken since I was kid but I'm either going to have to make it at home or find it elsewhere.

So expensive for the small portions these days. Employees aren't friendly. They give you the flimsiest styrofoam box and put it in a plastic bag so that when you get home there is a huge mess everywhere. Skip this spot.

the cashier Samaia I believe was her name very rude and had a lot of mouth behind that counter. they try to cheat you out of a free meal with the card club. instead of stamping the 5th stamp and saying hey you have a free meal they just automatically gave my daughter a discount and when I questioned them it was a problem. The card states free entree not discounted entree. We ended up walking away they wouldn't even give us the card back or our receipt. Never again then she started speaking in another language which made me feel like she was lying to her manager Highly unprofessional I mean if y'all don't honor the card just say that smh we already purchased two meals unnecessary attitude
