This place is awesome. I am thinking that since the old reviews mention old owners... maybe this listing needs to be updated. If Forced to choose one store in Akron *exclusively* I could be happy forever shopping only here.

New owners since 2019. They have completely painted, cleaned and gotten new freezers. Store is beautiful and everything up to date.

Yikes! Some basic staples from this place would be fine. Enormous bags of varietal rices as well as smaller bags, which, based on the fact that the huge vestibule is littered with same, would likely be fine to purchase. If one wanders the store, however, one is dumbfounded by the items that have sat on shelves here for decades based on appearance. Want some Chinese hot mustard for those homemade egg rolls? Sure but should it's color be closer to oxblood than yellow? I think not. Foreign versions of the FDA are far less likely to have "sell by" dates required on packages, so unless you REALLY know which products really move in Asian groceries, I suggest you skip this stop.

Alot of stuffs from Thailand,especially some item that i have to drive all the way from Cleveland..that's the only one market that sell stuffs i wanted.but have to check the expiration date ..

Really nice place to find Asian groceries. The lady who owns it now is extremely helpful.

The cashier was very helpful when I need help picking up items that I have not bought before. They had a lot of food selection.

WOW what a mess! Not a great shopping experience. Stuff everywhere, chairs in aisles, empty bins in aisles. Lots items but not the staple Asian products. Huge bags of different rice though.
