This is at least the third time I've had taken of bite of something that should have been refrigerated but wa set out improperly and it ended up being rotten, moldy (today), or just fouled already. I took one bite and tasted dirt- spit it out and as you see in the photos there's a fuzzy black mold in the food item I bought. This unfortunately shouldn't surprise me given the extremely long history of consistent food safety violations (publicly viewable on county website). Sad they can't get it together after so many complaints.

Been coming here for awhile and never had any problems until now.... Rarely do I ever choose to buy fresh foods here. Looks like it's been on shelf longer than my preference. A good price for 5pc/$1.99 so I bought 4 packs. Sadly had to throw out most of the garlic being ROTTEN. Good place for their fully packaged goods though.

A very good place to get your Asian grocery. There are various selections of authentic and rare ingredients that are not easy to find. They also have fresh seafood as well as ready to eat food and bakery. Though, the place could use some more cleaning.

Asia food company is an Asian grocery that offers a wide variety of grocery items that are mostly East Asian. They have a typical grocery store offerings from produce, non perishables, frozen, seafood/ meat. My favorite is the bakery. They bake their baked goods everyday. When they open and around noon I find their baked goods are usually the freshest and still warm. Most baked goods are individually wrapped. They also have prepared items such as pork belly and roast duck that would be large enough for a special occasion dinner. The staff are very helpful. The staff wear masks and signs entering the store say masks are required. Although, social distancing does not seem to be enforced, all customers are respectful of each other.

Asia has a really broad amount of food with a better produce area than most of the other Cleveland Asian markets, but I have several issues with it. 1. So many items are not priced. 2. They have so many food items (especially if you are interested in Vietnamese, Thai, Philippino, Indonesian), but it looks like some things are so old so check dates on questionable looking items. 3. The older Cantonese woman who is the owner/manager is so rude!!! That said, there are some reasons to come here if you want a better produce selection and specific types of foods that are harder to find at other markets. Also, there is a cashier who is a younger woman who speaks Vietnamese and Cantonese and she is a doll - so friendly and helpful. I would literally only go back there to benefit her because her customer service is so much better than the manager.

This is a diamond in the rough. I have yet to find a Asian based grocery store since moving to ohio and I guess the trick was to visit Cleveland. From live lobsters for 6.99 to catfish (whole fish) sold for 1.99 a lb, to everything you can imagine from quail, to duck, to cow tongue this is a treasure. I found all my favorite imported snacks (candy, ramen, chips, and munchies,) to all the sauces I've been missing in my pantry. They have a deli in the back that had amazing Bao Buns and Bahn Mi's as well. They have every type of ingredient you can imagine to make your favorite Chinese, Japanese, Korean. Filipino dishes and more. This is worth the hour trip to Cleveland to get groceries in my opinion.

I call this place the "new" Asian market despite it being open for like 10 years. It was opened last out of the four in the area to my knowledge...hence "new."Located inside of a warehouse on the first floor, this place is pretty big. They have the standard fair that you're looking for - frozen foods section, fresh food section, sauces, noodles, snacks, etc. from different parts of Asia. A bit of everything. I normally go between this place and Park to Shop when shopping for Asian groceries (unless it's Korean, then I'm off to Kim's).The thing that's a favorite of mine is that when they're in season, they get a ton of persimmons. I'm a big fan of the fruit and they always have the best price. As of this date (12/03/18), the persimmons are $1.19 per pound which is crazy. Note the photo is a bit older but the current price is $1.19. The season is ending so if you want some then you better get them fast. They've been getting new shipments every Friday.

If you want to phone a plant, why not call a flower? The cauliflower was going bad at Asia Food Co, but it was devoured by all the hungry fishes in the pool outside the store/mall. I remember the Hong Kong milk tea from last time was pretty good, definitely one of the better Asian drinks I've had in CLE. But they cannot have a five because of the produce. The girls at the front were nice but did not know what they were doing with pricing. It took awhile for me and my rotting cauliflower to get out of there. But then that's what she said.

Super cool Asian market in Asiatown. My friend and I stopped here while on the Asiatown Food Tour. I'm so happy we did, because otherwise I may not have come here on my own.Admittedly, I am not a regular shopper of international markets, but my friend and I both agreed we need to come back and cook up delicious pho at home. Asia Food Company is a huge, sprawling market with international products, fresh produce and an authentic bakery in the back (and don't worry, lots of translations throughout the store). My friend, who is more well-versed in Asian eats, was super impressed with all the noodle and sweets options and all the fair prices. It's just a cool place to explore, and the next time I'm back, you better believe I'll be leaving with several bags of loot to cook up a delicious noodle dish.
