Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips

It has been seven years since I visited this restaurant known as Arthur Treacher's. While I don't think it is the same as the original Arthur Treacher's, I believe it is close. And it is close enough that it makes me want to visit again. On this visit, I requested two fish, two chicken, fries, hush puppies, and a Mountain Dew. I dined in. It took less than 10 minutes to fry up my meal.The fish was hot and delicious. They claim it is wild caught haddock from Alaska. It definitely has a good flavor and the breading is crunchy and yummy. The chicken was excellent. I love dipping the chicken in cocktail sauce. I crave that flavor and texture. The hush puppies were smaller than I remembered, but I felt like they were just the right size. And they had the same flavor that reminded me of my childhood.I'll be back, hopefully, before seven years.

The food was terrible. The fish is not white thick and flaky like Arthur teachers used to be. It was thin with black spots and mostly batter. The shape isn't even the same. The fries and fish were so greasy we couldn't even finish it. The tartar sauce is no longer homemade but made by Marzetti. The crunch pup, no longer on a stick, was so hard and dried out you could barely bite thru it. A favorite food of last is no longer alive here.

This was the last remaining Arthur Treacher's in NE Ohio until just recently opened their second location in Garfield Heights. The food is always awesome and just as delicious as you remembered from back in the day. The service is fast and friendly. And they always have plenty of cocktail sauce and tartar sauce on hand, I love their Cocktail Sauce, it's the best. They always have different specials running, make plans to stop in soon and support this awesome establishment.

Back in business. Chicken, fish, and don't forget the hush puppies! Old school classic that won't disappoint. Take your Statin and get back to the 80s! Enjoy!

Limited chairs so you can dine in if you get there early. Friendly staff and everything tasted freshly made! Very tasty and made me nostalgic for this mostly vanished brand.

Have not been here in a quick minute, but I was in the neighborhood and nostalgia was running high so I popped in for a lunch. Did not realize that this was a 100% takeout spot, but no worries...a seat in my car will do just fine!I ordered the 2-piece fish meal which came with crispy fries and two hush puppies (a $1 can of pop was extra). A few brief moments after placing my order and a selection of tartar sauce, malt vinegar and ketchup packets tossed in my bag for good measure...and I was on my way!Was not quite a good as I'd remember from my distant past, but still very hot, fresh and crisp were each of the two filets. Fries were piping hot as were the hush puppies. A solid meal all in all.

I wanted you to know that they are OPEN again. But it is carry out only. They close at 8:30pm (not 9:30pm) the phone number is the old one. BUTThe food is fantastic!!!! The service was great. Very friendly and attentive.

It's the closest thing I could find to LongJohn Silvers and the chips are better than French fries from LongJohn Silver.

It's been years!! No drive through you have to go in. Not as good as it used to be years ago but pretty close. I got the chicken, fish, chips and hush puppies. People behind the counter are so very nice. Makes you want to come back.

Basic, tasty. Seems like a favorite of the locals. Inside is basic, divey, fast food place. Prices are decent.
