Apple Cart

I drive by the Apple Cart all the time but am scared away from getting some soft serve due to the loooooong lines! But yesterday, I saw a line of only two people and immediately swerved my car to their tiny parking lot to get myself a medium strawberry/vanilla soft swerve! So most of their options is soft serve based, with a few ways to make it fancy. The prices are great but it is CASH ONLY!! I love soft serve so I didn't mind that they don't sell typical ice cream. I wish there was a way to just get soft serve in a cup with a sprinkling of candy topping without having to make it an "arctic," or a blizzard-style dessert. Super basic concept, but I didn't see it offered as an option on their very messy menu. Next time you see a line under 5 people, stop on by!

I am always excited to find STRAWBERRY soft serve ice cream. This place has great soft serve and is quite inexpensive! (Almost all things were under $5. My large cone was $3). CASH ONLY

I love me an old fashioned ice cream stand during the summer time! And an apple a day keeps the doctor away right? Run, Dont walk, because you'll more than likely still be standing in line waiting for the most delicious soft serve this city has to offer. They are a CASH only establishment so come prepared. They dont do the fancy flavors, they get straight to the point when it comes to dairy delicacy. Strawberry, Vanilla and chocolate, any way you like them. They also do dip cones in chocolate and blue raspberry, parfaits, shakes, and banana splits. UH-Mazing pricing, great staff, quick and efficient, great social distance guidelines. They have a small parking lot and they have some seating but this dairy heaven is mostly a to go spot with a quick in and out vibe. I didnt see any dairy free options nor did i see any lactose options but tbh they make pills for that stuff LOL. They close earlier than i would like but thats just my stomach being greedy, if you're looking for that hot summer delight and nostalgia this is the spotGet the banana split in a cup, you'll thank me later!

​This place was great when I was a kid and my dad used to bring us here in the summertime once a year. I brought my kids here twice a year it was nice. I still go here maybe once a year it's not the same . It's definitely a neighborhood place people that come here probably were brought here when they were kids too. It's also a place where teenagers come to hang out and meet up with one another it's also a place where people get tired of waiting in line and just leave.

I love soft serve ice cream. It's something you normally don't get at home. I live down town and I drove by this place for years. One day the wife, baby and I stopped in to this ice cream shop situated in an unusual location. I ordered a large strawberry and vanilla cone $2.50 and the wife tried the banana boat $5.00. To my surprise this little place was serving up world class soft serve at a very reasonable price. Now we visit this little jewel in the city 1to 2 to days a week. You gotta try the strawberry twist. I have tried all the different flavors and love them all.

Ice cream is still as good as when I had it as a kid - same nice lady owns it too- line was long when I got there. Probably had to wait 15 minutes for ice cream - it was worth it - wonderful place to have some dessert - will be back again!

This is a great place to get good, simple and affordable ice cream! They even do special requests!

The BEST soft serve I've ever had. So delicious, refreshing, and not too sweet or heavy. The line can get kind of slow sometimes and they only take cash but it is so worth it. Always friendly. They have a small parking lot. There is one old bench to sit and enjoy your treat. The strawberry twister cones are my favorite. The hurricanes always look amazing.
