Always a pleasure to come here to eat! This is my friends and I third time coming here and the portions are pretty hefty with the food being enjoyable as well! The service is pretty slow but am assuming it is because it's connected to a grocery store so the same employees are going back and forth from restaurant to store. The vibe of the place is pretty old but it doesn't really matter to me when the food is clean and yummy. You're able to pick the spice level for the food and everything on the menu is vegetarian which is a cool change!

This place is amazing and I'm already trying to figure out when I can go back and try some different dishes. I was craving dosas, which is what brought me here in the first place. When we arrived at 8:15 (they close at 9) on a Saturday night, there were only two other tables of people dining, but in the next half hour, three more tables came in. The space is quite plain (little decor), with wood tables, a tv playing an Indian movie, and yellow walls. They are also connected to (same owners I presume) an Indian grocery store. Our order consisted of chai, veggie spring rolls, pani puri, masala paneer dosa, and special dosa. The food came out timely, hot, and the service was quick and efficient. The spring rolls were mediocre but everything else was sooooo yummy. I could eat that dosa every day and be totally happy. The food was quite spicy and very flavorful. I'll need to order a Lassi to help out my low-spice tolerance but it was the type of spicy that was not overpowering and tasted great. I'm looking forward to going again soon!

Located in a small shopping plaza off ridge is this hidden gem. I stopped in for lunch and they did not disappoint. Only one server was working and was as on top of the tables as one could be. Was a complete full house. I was able to order immediately upon sitting and waited a bit on water. She was handling a table with children so nice making them drinks out of sugar cane. I absolutely must try it next time def settled the kiddos down. I got the hot and sour soup omg delectable. Literally cooked to perfection. Highly recommend. Then got a vegan aloo gobi. Spice level was great. I love spicy and they didn't hold back. I will be back to try many more items.

Don't be turned off by it's strip mall location or minimal decor. This place is a true gem where you'll find authentic Indian cuisine spanning multiple regions. We wanted to check this place out after reading Douglas Trattner's "The Best Things We Ate in Cleveland 2021" in CLE Scene.Their menu is huge, I couldn't believe how long I scrolled for! It was hard to choose what we should order for the first time. They have a wide street food selection, including chaat. We got the samosa chaat which was a large serving, and every bite was flavorful. Panipuri is a favorite of mine, and not many places have it. It's fried, stuffed dough balls into which you pour in spicy, tangy water. It's fun, a mix of textures, and a burst of flavor! The Thalis are great if you want to sample the menu. My partner and I were ambitious and ordered both - we ended up with leftovers. There are no descriptions for the thalis on the menu, but I can suspect the exact dishes in each change regularly. We didn't ask what was in our thalis - it was fun to taste each one blindly and appreciate the flavors to reach a guess. I've listed what I was able to identify from their menu. Our Punjabi Thali contained:- samosa- paneer tikka masala - malai kofta- yellow daal tadka- vegetable biryani- naan- papadam- basundiOur Gujarati Thali contained:- sev puri- bhindi masala - Tindora Shaak- Kala Chana- roti- papadam- jalebiIt is also has a small attached Indian food market in the back. We are going to have to make multiple trips to try all of the delicious dishes.

At Annapurna, you will definitely have an authentic dining experience! The thalis are aesthetically appealing and are sure to make you salivate! They are a great sampler of multiple curries, biryani, breads (naan, roti, pappadum)! The Punjabi thali has more of the well known Indian dishes like paneer makhani, dal, veggie biryani, and raita with a giant piece of buttered naan. The Gujarati thali is served with 3 different rotis, gulab jamun, raita, curries, and khaman. If you're making your way to Annapurna, I also recommend their chaat!! Their street food menu is quite extensive. Some I recommend are the pani puri (crisp puffs with chutney and veggies), sev puri (flat crackers with chutney and veggies topped with sev, like crunchy noodles), or masala dosa (crispy savory crepe with potatoes and onion)! This is a family run restaurant and they are soooo friendly! Very casual ambiance!

The food at Annapurna is absolutely delicious. The service was just OK (as in we didn't get menus) and the ambiance was... unusual. Basically, you're sitting in the eating area of a rice warehouse. It wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. I would absolutely 100% go back for the food - but I would get carry out.

Poor quality of service. Ambience was mid. Trash on the floor. Jug of water looked contaminated. Misleading advertisement and marketing on website. Initially said the dosa deal is not on Friday but their website says otherwise. So when showed their website, they agreed to give this deal. The waiter said Buy One Get One Dosa but still charged almost for 2 dosas. 1 masala dosa is for $7.99 so we ordered 4 dosas. They charged pre-tax 25.99 for 4 which means $ 6.49/dosa. Totally dissatisfied. Taste wasn't worth it. Paradise/Honest in my neighborhood is better

As a transplant from the Portland, OR who has enjoyed the cuisine of India for decades I can say with confidence that Annapurna serves some of the most authentic Punjab and South Indian dishes I have enjoyed in North America. The restaurant staff is welcoming and the service is distinctly Indian which is to say that with a diverse menu offering of elaborate plates so you'll have to be patient as preparation takes more time than typical American restaurants. Expect to wait 20-30mins, enjoy a beer or stroll through the attached Annapurna grocery. For anyone new to Annapurna or Indian cuisine I strongly recommend ordering a Special Thali, they are a formal dinner that provide a variety of dishes in smaller portions so you can sample the range of menu options. You won't be disappointed.
