Anna In The Raw

I started writing this review in February 2023 but forgot to finish it so better late than never. Anna in the Raw is a nice little cafe in downtown Cleveland. I was in the Westin hotel lobby one day and stumbled across 'Anna in the Raw' which is connected to the hotel through a hallway but it is actually located in an office building lobby. The owner Anna is very nice and talkative. I miss coming to Anna in the Raw cafe downtown but I no longer work in the area and my schedule doesn't permit me to visit downtown often during the week.FOOD/DRINKS -- Please be aware that she doesn't have a full size kitchen. I've had orange and green juices from here which were super fresh. I've also had a vegan carrot cake and a vegan chocolate cake. Catering is also a service that she did back in 2023 and she may still do it now. I've never utilized her catering service so I can't speak on that.HOURS -- Call or visit to find out their current hours. Back then in late 2022 and early 2023 when I would frequent the cafe, the business hours were supposed to be from 7am to 3pm which is what the owner herself actually told me but those hours were never met. The owner often opened late and sometimes closed early with no notice posted on the door. The hours were very inconsistent which my co-workers and I would often wonder when the business would open on the day we found it closed. I do totally understand that the business owner, Anna, had no employees back then so her hands were tied but it was still frustrating to us as customers to always find the cafe closed. I don't know if she has employees now.Since I don't work in the office building anymore, I can't comment on how things have changed regarding the hours but besides that the food and service are good.I recommend this cafe for healthy food if you work in the building or the downtown area. Outstanding food, exceeded expectations. Anna in the Raw is located in the high rise on East 9th (the one with a Chase bank) across from the Galleria. They are not in the Galleria. I go to a lot of restaurants, this was clearly fresh made product.

The food is OUTSTANDING and you will absolutely love Anna's energy! She's one of a kind! It's very rare that a business owner welcomes you into their establishment with this kind of love and open arms. She will treat you better than your own family! Now, let's talk about that food! I've got one word --- WOW!!!! I've eaten just about everything on the menu, and it just keeps getting better. It's hard to believe something so delicious is actually healthy and nutritious. If you haven't tried Anna In The Raw --- RUN! Don't walk!

Hours are Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm from the owner. Delicious cheesy kale chips, chicken breast wrap w honey mustard, tomato, and spinach. Selection of baked goods- the vegan donuts were tasty and there were several muffins to choose from as well.

This place rocks! If you are downtown for work or errands please do yourself a favor and stop by for some kale chips or fresh soup of the day. Anna does a great job!

Anna is more than a small business owner. She's one of a handful of people I've come across in life than truly cares deeply about others - even strangers such as myself. I was on a solo trip to Cleveland, in town for a couple very scary visits to Cleveland Clinic and UH Hospitals. Seeking comfort and being a mostly raw vegan - I came across Anna's business. I inquired on her instagram if she had raw food available each day. She replied almost instantly, saying she could have her raw pizza ready for me. I was taken back that she'd go out of her way for a stranger. When I visited her shop in-between appointments she not only had the pizza, but also offered kind words of support and genuine empathy - the kind I don't even get from friends or family.Anna is more than a business, she cares deeply about fellow human beings - treating even strangers passing by like they are family. Thank you Anna for making both my stomach and soul feel nourished (seriously, that pizza crust and dressing were FANTASTIC!).

I went to Anna In The Raw based on the reviews and was looking forward to trying some breakfast options. I showed up on Monday close to 10 am and as for breakfast options there was. It too many choices unfortunately (some danish pastries and overnight oatmeal). The bread delivery has not arrived so the avocado toast or any other options were a no go which was disappointing. I ended up buying a drip coffee which was very good but there was no milk only cream available to add to coffee if that's important to you. I also bought the freshly squeezed juice in the bottle but since there was no price tag on the fridge where the juices are stored I was not aware each bottle is $10 which seems pretty pricey. Wish I could have tried food options but unfortunately it wasn't possible.

Wow, this is a wonderful establishment that I just discovered! The owner (Anna, go figure) is lovely and her shop is a reflection of her personality. Fun games to play, great background music, cool decorations and oh, the food and drinks were terrific. The lattes I had were smooth and tasty and her breakfast pastries were delicious. I couldn't imagine going to the nearby Dunkin or Starbucks shops when I could go to Anna in the Raw.

This Is An Amazing Spot With Great Food & Atmosphere. The Juices Are Amazing & The Service Is Fantastic. One Of The Best Spots In Cleveland.

The best service in the city. And juices are unmatched. The Hebe is delicious, but my all time favorite is the Hercules. It put life back into me. May this place continue to grow
