Angies Tavern

A new owner took over a month ago and these reviews do not reflect the experience you get when you go! 5 stars aren't enough! My cousin and I met up here tonight for the first time and we shared a medium taco pizza. This pizza is SO good! The crust is delicious and doughy in the best way and instead of taco meat, it is the best chorizo I've ever tasted. The pizza is baked with salsa, cheese, and chorizo, then topped with a lettuce mix and tomatoes and served with sour cream and more salsa. Next time I'm getting it with dirty ranch and probably a side of meatballs because they also sounded delicious. Not only was the food good, but we had great service and it was the perfect atmosphere. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and made us feel very comfortable...it didn't feel like it was our first time there. There was music playing, but it wasn't too loud so we could still hear each other talk. We didn't feel rushed and it was a GREAT place to hang out. I loved the whole feel of the place and even got to warm my hands by the fireplace before going out into the cold! I highly recommend you try it out for yourself!

I've always seen this place in my neighborhood but I hear it is now under new management. On immediate arrival the staff was very welcoming and attentive. Did not wait long for the order. I liked the sauce, sweet and savory. They don't have an Italian pizza so we made it work with ham and pineapple. It was a win! My fiancée and I loved it. The subs were smaller than I imagined but the meatball was my favorite among the two. Will definitely come back and support the local biz! Hope this place continues to thrive!

Great local Pizza place to take the kids on a rainy day. The fireplace in the middle of the dining area makes for a unique and pleasant atmosphere. I had the Italian sub and the kids had a plain cheese pizza, but the sauce was so good that we kept asking for sides of it. Our server was very nice and she did a great job keeping up with a packed room of hungry customers.

Went about 5 weeks ago and the pizza wasn't cooked right there was still dough inside haven't been back since. it's just not the same Angie's Pizza that used to be. The original Angie's was so much better.

Angie's Tavern, run by Kelly, Tom Konicki's daughter, has terrific service and food! The family recipes we enjoyed years ago are back!It had been too long since we visited Angie's Pizza which had been owned and run by the Konicki family. (Many of us knew Tom as kids.) After Tom passed away, the food seemed to decline, but the reopening of Angie's Tavern brings quality food, service and memories. With an updated look and addition of a bar, Angie's is a great find.We'll be back. Pictures can say more than words...

Ordered a pizza from Angie's Tavern yesterday formerly known as Angie's Pizza.to my surprise it was very good. I tasted like it did back in the eighties. A bit pricey 18.00 for a three item medium. I will be back soon! FYI we looked up Angie's pizza for the number, recording said it was permanently closed. People might not realize that Angie's Tavern is the old Angie's pizza.

We ordered a taco pizza. It had carrots and cabbage on the too. They just threw salad mix on top. It had larger size tomatoes, large peices of lettuce. No onion, olives etc. 2 small packets of sour cream and 1 salsa, not enough to go around for an 8 slice pizza. 19.75 for the medoum taco pizza. It wasnt good.​​

I visited about a week ago to grab a pizza and a drink. The server we had was excellent, and the food was great! However, the two owners at the bar seemed to lack professionalism as they argued about the place in front of us and others. It made me feel so uncomfortable. I will not be back, which is sad because, as I mentioned, the server and food were excellent.

Bravo!!!! I boycotted the old Angie's for about 6 years because the quality of the pizza went down so badly when Tom passed. It was nothing but grease and burnt pizzas. I was happy to learn a new owner bought it and to try it out. It was excellent!! No grease pies served here! It tasted fresh! The old Angie's pizzas tasted old. Sauce seems similar but maybe a tad sweeter. Crust seems similar but different. Pizza came out very good! 4.5 stars but I can't do that so I'm giving them 5. Can't wait to for the bar to open once the permit goes through!!

The food was delicious! The service was proficient! The ambiance was family friendly and warm.
