Angie's Soul Cafe

I've tried all three locations. I have had great experiences at all of them.The food is great, the personal service Tawana provides is unparalleled. This trip I purchased cake and the peach mango koolaid. I will do another review when I get a dinner. The Kool-Aid is served in reusable Mason jars. I love it!They do catering also. Come back often as there are daily specials that change from time to time.

Order liver rice and pinto beans, Liver hard stail rice pinto beans not cooked throughout. Cornbread nasty . His attitude was as nasty the food . I will never buy Angie's again from this experience.

Ok. This is the last straw. Angie Soul Cafe is the type of place that you once got good food from. You keep coming back hoping they have gotten their act together. They have not. Clearly, these French are burnt & over done. They should never been given to a customer. Where on planet earth does anybody like burnt French fries? Now I see why on a Saturday afternoon I was only customer there.

It's been a while since I've been here to this location so it's new faces that I haven't seen before. They need to learn how to talk to their customers better than they do. I likely will not visit this location ever again. I haven't tasted the food so I may be adding to this review once I get home.

Pork chops were bland, liver was over cooked. Mac and cheese was ok. The sign on the door said two people inside at a time but it wasn't enforced at all times. Cashier was packaging food and ringing out customers at the same time and I can't recall if she was replacing her gloves as she was going back and forth.

Food was horrible. I ordered liver and onions. The liver was old and hard smothered in a disgusting gravy. I added paid for and ordered 3x onions. It one onion was added. My daughter ordered salmon croquettes, it was disgusting as well. However the vegetables were delicious. They seem to have a problem with meat. Both were old. I will not be ordering anything else from this restaurant.

Stopped by Angie 's today. They said they close at 8 o'clock. It was a little bit prior to 8 o'clock. There is a gentleman sent in the doorway having a conversation when I pulled up and parked he quickly close the door and locked it. I asked where we close he said yeah to his hand this is why we have a hard time supporting our black businesses because our black owners don't treat us with respect I've had problems at this Emory location prior. Trust me I will not be Back.

Ordered pork chops (smothered), black eyed peas, and cabbage. Food was bland, no seasoning. This was the only food I ate all day and it literally made me sick....diarrhea, nausea, stomach ache. I will never eat here again. I guess that explains why I was the only customer at that time. Ambiance was quiet. Food looked stale sitting behind the counter.

where do I even start‍ I really knew better than to stop here because last location I went to was so awful I had no business even going back. but I was being lazy and was passing and stopped in. The food in the steam cart looked nasty but again I just said baked chick because like how can you go wrong. it was so nasty no flavor whatsoever the yams had a taste that should never be in yams the Mac was bad the corn bread was bad . I don't know how she even still in business she should take better effort in making the food good for the price. never again I wouldn't feed this to a homeless person.
