Went to the Harvard Ave location. They really need order here. How is it that people with similar orders to mines get their food before me when they ordered after I did. I saw my food set there on the counter for at least 20 minutes. And I told the person I was with I bet you that is our food and it was. Shame on you guys. Get your act together. I had smothered chicken and they had plenty of it so what was the hold up. The people who ordered after me had smothered chicken as well. First order in should be first order out not give people their food when you feel like it. Just think they were not organized well todayThe food was very delicious. Everything was seasoned well. The greens were very good and not spicy like they have been before. Once they get the front end running like a well organized machine they will be great.

I would not recommend that you order from this restaurant. I placed an online order with payment. They called me back to say that they were closing early. I asked for a refund/ payment reverse, and they refused to refund me my money or to give me a store credit. I contacted the store manager Adrian Lindsey several times and he refused to refund my money. If you are reading this review... You have been warned of the risks. Good luck!

This Angie's is the best of their locations in Cleveland. I've been to the others but this one was IT! As soon as I walked in I noticed the establishment was clean. Also, the staff was so-so, they weren't rude and helped us with our order, but they weren't happy to be there. Smile a little people, it goes a long way. But anywho...the menu has plenty of good options, however get there early because everything is made fresh daily and this location runs out of food quick. I ordered the smothered chicken, dressing, and Mac& cheese. I wanted thighs, but they were out and only had wings left, which I was cool with. My husband got a smothered pork chop dinner, dressing, and greens. I'll be the first to say their dressing and the homemade gravy are top notch! Very flavorful! My smothered chicken was amazeballs, the only thing is they give you these big onions. I would had liked those chopped smaller, but overall delicious. The Mac was cheesy and gooey. One of the best I've had in Cleveland at any soul food restaurant. Oh, and every meal comes with a cornbread muffin and yes, they are good as well. My husband's food was excellent also he said.

On the website it says they close at 8 o'clock. This particular Angies closes at 6:30 to 7 PM almost all the time I don't know if that is everywhere but this particular one is always closed way earlier than 8 o'clock and it says 8 o'clock on their door as well. But when you can get food it's decent. Sometimes the chicken is dry. The best angies is on Carnegie.

I'm sitting in my car. Just walked out this restaurant. I go in and pay for my food. I use my card. When I'm given the receipt to sign, the cashier points at my receipt (at the tip section) for me to fill out. I don't normally do reviews. My question is, when has it become acceptable to tell a customer to tip you? The customer is to decide that. What have you done to earn a tip? Nowadays people want tips for doing their job. You already get paid. She did nothing more but cash me out and thought she deserved a tip. As much as I wanted soul food, I won't be coming back.

The food was decent ,a part of the order was missing 1 1/2 ,baked chicken with dressing with peas and yams.dressing was missing. The young lady who took the order was informed that pinto beans were requested in the second order of 1 1/2 baked chicken with dressing and yams, this order was called in at @ 12:45pm it was assembled and picked up at 1:20pm with the missing items.paid for. The service was poor, customer service was lacking and I won't go back to this location again.note to self ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING

To start the food here is DELICIOUS!! But, what you're really coming in for are the service and the ambiance of home style cooking. The workers are extremely kind and will most likely talk to you multiple times to check in on you. If you're looking for a cozy place to eat, this is it.
