OK, I'm not going to lie. I wasn't expecting much from this coffee shop. I went because our area is having this raffle for trying so many coffee shops in the area that they have listed and this was on the list of coffee shops to visit. You get your card stamped showing you went there. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The coffee presentation was decent. The flavor was amazing. Now I try to always get the same exact drink when I'm comparing one coffee shop with the other, which is an espresso macchiato. Not a whole Lotta sugar and milk covering up the flavors the coffee shop has a great ambience, very cozy seating and a real hometown feeling even though it's in the city. The customers inside the coffee shop we're very friendly and engaging. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The employees not so much but they make a great espresso macchiato so that was great. I will definitely come back here and try a different drink in the future for more comparisons.

Rude staff, standoffish owner, mediocre coffee, stale pastries, dirty seating area... Enough said.

Easy parking, friendly baristas, good coffee (and flavor) selection, dairy alternatives and delicious sandwiches and bakery items. The seating area is comfortable without feeling crowdedMy only ding is the single bathroomWhich was occupied by a homeless person bathing in it for 15 minutes :/Maybe start locking it and having customers get a code or key

This place is a true gem! I came here with a few girlfriends and had a great time. I ordered the chai latte and it was delicious. I also ordered a blueberry danish that was perfection! The gentleman at the register was very friendly and joking around with us. The atmosphere is cozy and has a bit of a cool retro vibe. It was very crowded but didn't feel overcrowded. I can't wait to return!

Such a cute coffee shop right in highland square. Stopped in with girlfriends after yoga and had iced chai lattes - absolutely delicious and such a great moody vibe inside. Love the records they have framed and the different assortment of furniture. Reminds me of a little NYC shop. Can't wait to come back and try some pastries. The baristas were sweet and great with suggestions.

Been here quite a few times. So good enough to get me coming back a few times. However, everything coffee related is just fine. All of the drinks I've had are pretty good. But nothing I've had, has been great, always seems like it's missing something. But, again, not enough to not get me to come back. The ability to get loose leaf coffee and beans is great also. They have a large variety of pastries, and those have always been great.

Vastly superior to any other choices in Akron. Great local owners who have been a part of this community for decades. Great and competent staff. Nice vibes inside.The volcan is the best chocolate drink you'll probably ever have. So ridiculously rich, you may have to take it home to finish the next day.Stellar cortados that are perfect with whole or half and half.And freshly made palmiers.Give these people your money.

Another Akron staple! Their beverages are always good and staff is incredibly kind and professional. It's always a busy spot but once you get a seat it's great to catch up on work or read a book here.

Great little coffee spot! I love the neighborhood vibe, the baristas knew nearly everyone coming in. Friendly and fast. HelpfulWe had two coffees and a couple of pastry. Standard presentation, tasty treatsThe shop is older and probably in need of cleaning:updates But seems very bustling! If nearby, we will stop again

Charming hangout! As You walk in immediately you feel welcome. Someone from behind the bar says "Good Morning!" Or whatever pleasant salutation is regarded at the moment. The employees are top notch! They get your order correct and quickly. Nice variety of delicious bakery and sandwiches. They have these homemade pies and cakes. They look amazing and taste even better! Not sure who is responsible for these bakery items. Scones and buttery fresh croissant. However you "baker person." Keep'em comin! The ambiance is laid back and musically and literarily artsy This is the place I gauge all other coffee spots by. If you've not been to Angel falls you're missing out on a truly unique experience. Next time you drive or walk by. Come on in. You too will make this place a fond spot to relax and enjoy.
