Amber Oaks Restaurant

Came in for dinner with a group of friends this evening. Collectively we ordered two orders of perch dinner, a walleye dinner, chicken marsala, veal piccata, and I had the breaded pork chops. Everyone LOVED their meals. The portions were huge, including the sides, and everything was hot, fresh, and tasted fantastic. The only thing better were the affordable prices. We couldn't eat fast food for this price. New owners Brian and Amy were hard at work and our server, Tess, was fantastic. The upgrades they've made are great and we can't wait for them to finish the new patio. We will definitely be back! We're also moving a monthly club meeting here! High quality food, reasonable prices, and good staff. Can't be beat!

We had the greatest experience at Amber Oaks! From the drinks to the entrees and the dessert, every part of our experience was amazing! We can't wait to return. The service was great and the ambiance was awesome as well. Cannot say enough about the quality and value of this restaurant!

Great locally owned restaurant. Meals include salad, bread, and a side dish. The food is fresh and prepared to order. Daily specials are very good. Friendly wait staff. So much better than eating at a chain. Eat local!

Nice location, attentive friendly and helpful staff. All our food was prepared as requested, while not gourmet the menu had good choices to please virtually all pallets. Highly recommend and worth a visit.

Great new web page. Hopefully they fix the parking lot soon, because it really degrades the ambience.Otherwise, saw their facebook ad for today's specials. Yellow perch fish fry for $13! Looked at their online at the menu and see regular price is $22. Includes bread, slaw, fries. Super special deal. Until you show up and sit down and find out it's not really a special, just a diminished serving with half portions. If you want regular portion, it's the regular price. Advice to the establishment: No one likes to be fooled.On the other hand, the alternative special of the same day was a crab cake dinner with two sides for $15. This was a great dinner, with two large cakes. Large portions of everything, this was really a great special, and was good tasting.Keep trying, Amber, we are rooting for you.
