On the way home from Conneaut Lake Park, my friends and I stumbled across this little farmers market. We were kind of disappointed in the park's pumpkin fest, so we were really excited this was right around the corner. They had some cool fall attractions for kids, tons of pumpkins, and a nice farmers market inside. They had carriage rides, a corn maze, and a lot of cute games inside for kids. The pumpkin selection was pretty large, and the prices weren't too bad. Prices varied, but I believe they were about $5 per large pumpkin. I'd stop back here again especially during the fall.

My girlfriend and her family frequent here for the subs. I tried this place when I visited the area for the first time. I'm from Virginia and don't have many sub shops (other than common chain restaurants). This is by far the best sub I've ever had. I ordered an Italian sub (what I get everywhere I go) and everything was perfect. The toppings seemed to be fresh and probably right off the vine or plant. Couldn't be happier with the food. Only downside was the time to make the sandwiches took a little long considering the lack of business. Other than that, it was perfect.

Decent spot to grab a sandwich when in the area. We stopped off here on our way back to Pittsburgh. Food was above average but the wait for a cold sandwich was a little long.

This place was an unexpected treasure on our day trip to Conneaut! We spent a lot of time in the greenhouse enjoying the activities for the kids. We then browsed the shop, picking up unusual gourds for decorating and a handful of Northern Spy apples for a pie. The cherry on top of our visit was the snack shop, where we ordered an Italian sub and some sandwiches for the kids. The sub was made with the freshest ingredients possible and was absolutely delicious! You should spend some time and enjoy the amazing things Al's has to offer!

Just bought tomatoes there yesterday. The "Local Tomatoes" had stickers that said "Canada". I remember years past, when they used to drive to Florida in the winter, and return with great tomatoes, not the pink rocks available everywhere else. I would drive up from Pittsburgh just to get those tomatoes. They've gone downhill slowly over the years.
