To begin, the espresso martini was one of the better ones that I have had in a long time. My friend ordered the oysters which she said tasted fresh and the presentation was nice. The potato leek soup was very tasty and had a good consistency. "The AL" was delightful and refreshing. I did request that they left the seaweed and the crab on the side, just for personal preference, which i appreciated. It's a cute date night spot, and love the water front views.

This is my 1st time visiting Cleveland. My friends know that I like seafood, so they brought me to Alley Cat Oyster Bar. The view of the water was amazing! Our server was Zack. I ordered the Cat's Pajamas (Bluerberry Basil flavor) and subbed vodka for tequila. This drink was very flavorful and refreshing.For appetizers, we ordered the cheddar bay biscuits and brussel sprouts along with the Nashville Hot Shrimp. The biscuits by themselves were just ok but the taste drastically improved with the ramp butter. The brussel sprouts were my fave and were served with apricots and onions, which were an amazing flavor combo. The Nashville Hot Shrimp had potential, but I was disappointed in the lack of flavor. It was served with a miso ranch, but the sauce tasted more like plain mayo.We also ordered the lobster mac & cheese and the loaded mashed potatoes. These were absolutely delicious! I loved the cavatappi, especially with the bread crumbs. The mashed potatoes were creamy and come with a good portion of bacon and cheese. I will have to come back and try the oysters and lobster roll.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Alley Cat recently. We LOVE oysters and really enjoyed the variety available. We agreed we'll go back soon and just order round after round of oysters. The staff were also very friendly and helpful with the menu. Also, the view by the window was just gorgeous!

Stopped here for lunch while passing through town and I'm glad I did. There was a great view of the river from the seating outside, I came during the week at happy hour so although there is a roof top, it was closed so outdoor seating was on the ground level. Happy hour runs 3pm-6pm.I got the raw oysters, clam chowder and lobster roll, all of which were delicious. I'm a big foodie and quality food and taste is important and from what I got everything was so good. The service was good too. Well done guys, happy customer and will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area.

Absolutely Amazing!! The oysters are decadent, the food was delicious! Excellent selection of cocktails! The views are Gorgeous! But by far the best part of this outstanding dining experience was the service!! 5!! Anthony was EXCEPTIONAL! We celebrated my daughters 25th Birthday & Alley Cat was the most Perfectly beautiful venue for a celebration! This will be a family tradition for years to come! Thank you Alley Cat and Thank You Anthony & Team! All of the incredible staff made our day superb!

Was a little skeptical to try based on reviews but it was one of the best meals we've had in Cleveland. Everything was so fresh. Great ambiance, server was very attentive and food came quickly. We got 6 oysters to start along with some cheddar biscuits. The baby octopus salad was delicious and much larger than anticipated. It has a pickled/seaweed salad taste to it which I throughly enjoyed but if you don't enjoy seaweed salad you may not like it. We then got 3 bowls of clam chowder, 3 fish tacos, and a poke bowl. Everything was great. We got spicy mayo for poke bowl on the side and it was really good but had some kick to it. Ended the night with peach cobbler which was excellent. Plenty of food for 4 of us to share and didn't feel overstuffed walking out.

Feel a little conflicted about where to place this rating. The food (oysters, tuna poke) and drink (Bloody Mary) were very tasty. And that's the most important part, right?But the service was just oh so, so, that it left me feeling underwhelmed for the amount I paid for brunch. All the surroundings were gray. The music was barely audible. Just nothing stood out to rank this visit higher.Maybe next time?

Really cool place to go! The food was good, I wouldn't rated a five star, but definitely a four! And the service was outstanding, and that is what will make me go back again!

Very poor presentation, my wife ordered the grouper Rueben. It was inedible! The fries were bad too. My tacos were ok. My friends walleye was just average and chips were burnt.Never going back, don't waste your money!
