Stopped in to warm up with tea. I got the chai to warm up - I prefer it a little sweeter, but I didn't wanna alter the favor. The inside was so cute and cozy. All the food looked so good! We got an array of food. I did not like the green dip, but the hummus was really good! And the falafel was really good. I would come back for the tea and coffee!

My friends took me here when I was visiting and I'm almost mad that they hadn't brought me on my last two visits to Cleveland because I love tea houses. We sat outside at their cute sidewalk seating and all enjoyed beverages and some snacks. We got the Labneh (Lebanese cheese served with pita) and the Yafa oh Yafa flatbread (flatbread with veggies, walnuts, and cheese). Both portions were surprisingly large for appetizers/small plates and everything was delicious! Simple ingredients done very well, with very clean flavors. The labneh was creamy, the flatbread was crispy, and the pita was nice and warm. I can't remember the name of it, but I also got an iced tea latte thing that was delicious (it was a special written near the register), but I would honestly try most of their 30+ teas! It took a little while to get the food, but I take that as a good sign that everything was made fresh. Can't wait to come back and try more food and teas!

I was happy to finally visit this immigrant friendly business. I gave it a 3/5 stars because I've only been here once and I just had a tea which wasn't quite to my liking but service was efficient and service so I'll most likely be back.If you enjoy unique, quirky, and hipster vibes then this tea shop is for you. The tea cups are colourful and very unique which are all made by the owner.I finally visited in late September 2024 with a new friend. We both ordered the Palestinian tea ($4). The Palestinian tea tasted fine to me but maybe I should have asked for honey. The Palestinian tea is described as a savory black tea with a hint of caraway and sage. The tea flavour was bland and it probably would have tasted better with honey. If you like a plain black tea then maybe this one is for you.I did not order food because when I walked in, it looked a bit unkept (not dirty but okay looking). Their food looks like regular breakfast/lunch items from sandwiches to salads. My friend ordered the spinach pie which came with a side salad and he enjoyed it.I'll be back to try a different tea.TIP: Parking in the Little Italy neighbourhood can be tricky and frustrating as with most places. I got lucky and found street parking down the street on Mayfield road on the corner of Mayfield Rd. and Murray Hill Rd. All parking on Murray Hill road has "residents only" sign so that's why I didn't park on Murray Hill road.****GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024- 93/150 total reviews in 2024- 742 total overall Yelp reviews- Reviewed on 29 September 2024

Although this place is very cute, the service was awful. It took about 30 minutes just to receive a cup of tea and the tea wasn't even good! I would not recommend

The ambiance is my favorite! Walked in with the most beautiful decor and Fairouz playing. I love the decor and the vibes. Food was great and service was pretty fast for now busy they were! Cups are unique as well!

This is a little gem in Cleveland! If you like tea, need to get some work done, or need a new place to meet up with friends, this is a great spot. It's located in the Little Italy neighborhood near the CWRU campus. You can come for a cup of tea, to eat lunch, or to buy some international grocery items. We got the dip plate as a snack and it was delicious! You can tell that there is authenticity behind the dishes. The house chai was a little disappointing to me, but because they have such an extensive menu, I would definitely return to try other teas.

This is an interesting place with a truly unique ambiance. However I would not come here for anything other than the tea. We ordered a Palestinian flatbread, a Mediterranean omelette and the algebra dessert. Service was painfully slow. The omelette was greasy and tasteless, the dessert was dry and clearly tasted stale (I've made this myself so I know what it should taste like) literally couldn't even pick it up with a fork as it crumbled--even what was supposed to be the chocolatey part. The flatbread was the only saving grace and the teas were nice

Want to experience the heart of culture? It's at the Algebra Tea HouseI decided to stop by for tea while killing time waiting to meet up my friend. I love the aesthetics of their mugs and how their kitchen is an open display.

Yuck! The offerings are mediocre on a good day. The ownership is quite rude so I won't be back.

Super cozy and inviting atmosphere with kind staff. I loved the delicious house smoothie which had a nice floral addition of rose water; it's probably one of the best smoothies I've ever had! The shawarma sandwich was a fair size, but the beef could've been more tender. Overall, I'm excited to go to Algebra in the future and try more of their menu!
