ALEX Theater at The 9

After a long time away from the pandemic, I revisited the Alex Theater for a Queens of the 9 show. It's still as fun as I remembered. The Alex Theater is located inside The 9 Hotel and you do not have to be a hotel guest to attend a show at Alex Theater. Valet your car (it's just the easiest parking) and simply walk straight in to the elevators and click the call button for Alex Theater.The Alex Theater has a full bar (no snacks) and can seat about 100 people comfortably between the leather recliners and high-top tables that are sometimes assembled. The programming at the Alex is always five-stars. Check their website regularly and you'll see evenings for drag, live bands, magic shows, film events and more.I want to give kudos to the staff. A very annoying, obnoxiously drunk couple was next to us and ruining our experience. At intermission, we let the staff know and they discretely took care of the situation. The Alex is a classy place, and if I wanted a rowdy night out, I'd be at a college bar. A night out at the Alex Theater is always a fun experience and I can't recommend it enough!

Great place and wonderful manager- Dereck! Read further.I bought tickets to Cle Sinatra show, and...I mixed the day. Instead of coming on Friday, we came on Saturday. However, after the brief talk with Dereck, he was able to put us on Saturday show with the same seats! Basically, he saved our date night! Thank you! Also, I had seen couple shows here and all were fun and entertaining. The theater is spacious that can hold 120 people. The most I like comfy seats and helpful staff. Def check out!

I've been trying to remove my previous review, but there seems to be a technical issue preventing me from doing so. Although I was not impressed by the experience, I behaved badly and my prior comments were horrible and unjustified. My deepest apologies to the performers and staff. I'm ashamed of my actions and attitude, both of which were unjustified and inexcusable

Wow! What comfortable leather recliners, with such a private feel. They have small shows, private film releases, short films and many more events. Very luxurious. The sounds system makes the film so much live. The wine bar is just down the hall if you get thirsty. I highly recommend to visit or see a show here. I can't wait for another show here. It does only hold a small crowd of about 100 or less but I small crowds.
