Woh? How am I just hearing about this place? What a treat. What a find. Definitely a place that has earned multiple return visits. Remarkable Lamb & Tomato dumplings. Just the right amount of heat and flavor for miles. The Country Meatloaf was a slice of sweet potato and an equally sized slice of ground pork and beef. Each was beautifully plated. Each was beyond perfect. ...and there is so much more to try. An exciting menu, well prepared. I can't wait to return.

So let's start with the positives. Pros- The food is really delicious and fresh. The portions of food are great. I love everything about Cleveland Heights so housing your restaurant in an old metal diner car is beyond fun. The interior is small but cozy and I love the seating they offer at the bar area. It can be a bit cold and drafty in the Winter months but once the weather turns is should be great. Hopefully they can crank open all those windows. The staff and ownership are friendly and knowledgeable and often times the Owner will come out to greet people and ask how the experience has been. Okay so here comes the not so great stuff. Cons- The evening we arrived it was really cold outside so I asked to start with a cup of tea... no tea What... an Asian restaurant with NO TEA, how is that even possible, well it is. So I would like to suggest... please add hot tea to your menu.A good majority of the menu is pretty pricey, and again I will say the portions are of food are good sized ..... but.... here is where you lost me. They charged us $2 for what amounted to a tablespoon of soy sauce, you know the kind they put in a dipping vessel... are you kidding me , it's an Asian restaurant. I've been to some of the best Asian restaurants in New York, Chicago and LA, I have never been charged for soy sauce. They also charged $2 to squirt some agave into my ice tea, are you kidding me. I've heard of a la carte menu pricing but this is kind of ridiculous to charge $2 for what should be considered common sides, it honestly puts a ewwww in the experience. It's kind of like charging you for chopsticks, yes it's that ridiculous in my opinion. So between my two iced teas with a squirt of agave and a dipping bowl of soy sauce that added $6 to my tab So for three people who split ONE main entree dish, 3 separate orders of dumplings, 2 iced teas and water.... the bill came to $115. People go out to have a good experience, eat great food, enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy the moments. Everything was good but that bad taste at the end when seeing all the "little extras" really felt disappointing

I've been dying to come here and I finally did! The menu is not just your normal Chinese dishes, but elevated. Although the restaurant sits in a diner looking spot which is odd for the cuisine served, BUT it's cute. Everything just seems to work out here! It seems like the menu rotates out pretty often from what our server mentioned. We had the Variety Dumpling Sampler, Spicy Fragrant Fish, and Ginger Sesame Chicken. All sharable items, which is honestly a great way to try multiple dishes!

Abundance has grown so much over this year and has a great social media presence to show it's authentic roots and meanings behind their dishes. We made a reservation for two Friday night and it wasn't necessary but does make anxiety decrease knowing we have a table. The waiters were so kind and did a great job.The must get us the China hot. The fried chicken is so incredibly crispy on the outside and juicy inside. You can hear a crunch when you bite. It's amazing. The dumpling sampler is fun and I love thing all the flavors. My favorite is the beef with cilantro. I do wish the dough skin was a tad more thin but that could be personal taste. The "we've come oolong way cocktail" was subtle but oolong forward and is a nice smooth cocktail to try out that's also unique.Loved coming here. And a parking lot!!!

Stopped here randomly for supper time, it is a diner spaced restaurant. The food is asian fusion and they have a seasonal menu. It has old diner style seating and ambience to it. We ordered the 8 piece mix and match dumplings, they're usual 2 pieces each of the 4 varieties that they have but since I don't eat beef I asked them to make 4 each of 2 flavors(pork and lamb). In all honesty the dumplings were okay, I've had better dumplings. The Sichuan peppercorn flavor was really good but the dumpling wrappers were slightly thicker than I expected. I ordered the China hot fried chicken and my husband ordered the ginger sesame chicken noodle soup. To say the fried chicken was slathered in hot oil is an understatement it tasted good but the amount of oil (considering it's fried chicken already) was a bit too much to my liking - the flavors were amazing but it was just too much oil. The soup was the best thing on the menu I'd say. I'm not sure if it's cos we didn't order the crowd favorites (I was not sure if there were any) that caused the okay-ish experience but maybe a different seasonal menu I might take a chance again - but overall it's a hit or miss kinda menu for me.

Dined in (can make reservations on tock) and ordered carryout -- both great. Fun location inside the old diner with dedicated parking. Recommend the China hot wings and dumpling variety sampler.

Excellent artisanal Chinese food in a comfy diner setting. Greasy and expensive but delicious. The king mushroom dish was flavorful and the mushrooms were significant and meaty with excellent substance despite it being a vegan dish. Came with a big pile of rice. The fragrant fish was also remarkable. It was incredibly juicy inside yet somehow perfectly lightly crispy outside which is a feat. It was a small portion but the presentation and richness of the dish (all the dishes I've had here are very greasy as a general rule) made up for it. The vegetables and peppers added a moderate spiciness and overall I was stuffed in the end. Some cocktails are made to order and others pre batched. The cocktail I had with cardamom shrub tasted like a mild raspberry lemonade? Underwhelming given the ingredients listed but not mad about it. There was a family of 5 who walked in, stood around, and walked in a few feet into the diner car while the bartender was chatting away about 20 feet from them. They waited so long while being ignored that they left.

Went to Abundance Culinary on a Saturday morning (made reservations) and was so excited to finally try this resturaunt! We ordered one of each dumpling, peanut noodles and some fried wings. The dumplings were amazing (can't remember the flavors) and the noodles were so flavorful and good! The wings were fried soo well, it was crispy and nice and hot! We are definitely planning on coming back for their next menu change!!

I really wanted to like this place. I heard so much hype (albeit from non Asians). I loved the theme of modern Chinese and how they converted an old diner into a very sleek modern upscale zen eatery. I admire the ambition of the chef to rotate menus so one item I was looking for unfortunately was no longer available. I was eager to try their namesake (buns- as in a-BUN-dance) however it is only available during the day!We tried the China Hot Wings, Dan Dan noodles, variety sampler of dumplings and xiao Chao beef.Under the Wing menu there are 2 options, the one I got and the other were. Honey Ma wings which was described to include sichuan peppercorn. I'm not a fan of sichuan, it's a burning numb and I feel it really overshadows flavors. So naturally I went with the other l which was described as battered in 14 hour marinade with house chili crisp. Darn it the dish had that burning numb which I was trying to avoid. And the entire dish sat in a low level pool of house chili crisp. It was an oily disappointment for me. The crisp was excellent, the meat was tender, but chili crisp overload ( I think it should be served on the side like it usually is in Chinese restaurants). I picked Dan Dan noodles since it seemed so popular on Yelp. I mixed the dish was recommended but found the taste sooooo lacklusterThe beef dish was easily my favorite, well garnished and flavorful. Was not overloaded with oil. Also of note, they do not serve traditional soda/pop but rather some fine juice seltzers, along with a commendable series of beers (including sours which I love and don't see enough of at other restaurants) and what looked like some finely crafted cocktailsI am open to returning to try their buns, will have to return earlier (only 11-5pm). I felt like this place was much more sichuan and not advertised.
