A Walk in the Park Café

There are some mixed reviews but I love this place. In FL there was a place I went to on a regular basis and so when I moved to Ohio I needed a new place and A Walk In The Park Café became that place for me. It's a whimsical and artistic inspiring spot. The entire staff is wonderful. They know my usual order, french fries and decaf coffee, which is always good and sometimes I'll get the apple walnut salad. Which is my favorite salad there. This is a great place for everyone.

It's a small and older setup for a kitchen and seems like they have to make it work. Gloves would be a good start. What a gem! This place was recommended to me by a local when I was in the area. Right across from the Firestone Park library, with free parking right in front. You go inside and step into a magical fairyland, unlike any other diner-ish place I've ever been to, that's for sure! They even have canvases you can buy to paint while you wait (I saw both kids and adults doing that when I went)!You place your order on kiosks and they bring it out to you once you seat yourself. They had a good selection of breakfast items and substitutions/a notes section on everything which was so nice. I chose a bread/meat/egg meal but was able to substitute for a blueberry pancake, hasbrowns, and grits. All of which were tasty! The pancake was flavorful and the hash browns were super crispy. The service was very friendly as well and the prices were super reasonable. I will be back! :)

Completely unexpected! Not our usual area of town, we were out looking at cars, found this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. The outside is not much to look at, however as they say, Don't judge a book by its cover! This eclectic place combines comfort family favorites and art/crafts activities. The decor was like being in a Where's Waldo book, really fun! My husband had the traditional platter with eggs, sausage, has browns and delicious blueberry pancakes. He loved it. I had the biscuits and gravy meal and it was delicious! The other highlight of our trip was the service. Angie our waitress was on top of things. Very friendly and not her first rodeo in the service industry. Overall if your in the area, give this little gem a try!!

This is a cute corky Cafe! The breakfast was on the heavier side ideal for a hangover! The interior reminded me of Otherworld in Columbus!

The staff gives the building such a welcoming atmosphere! They are easy to talk to and glad to help with any questions. The food is customizable, from the wrap flavor, meats, vegetables, etc. Makes it easier for people on special diets to eat here. Great place for a first, second, or any kind of date/hangout

We enjoyed it!!! The ambiance was amazing!! I love the environment and friendly staff! The food was cooked fresh and delicious! My husband had the breakfast sandwich i had the pancakes they were huge with strawberries in side!!!! The coffee and smoothie was delicious! This is a nice spot off the beaten path will be back!!!! You can paint while you wait for your food $5 includes canvas and paint supplies! Very cool vibes would recommend

This place is so cool! It's full of quirky decor which is amazing and the food is delicious while being fairly priced. I was shocked by how inexpensive their pancakes were and they were delicious! Our server was very nice. I just wish they had some vegan options or more off the griddle options.

A favorite breakfast/lunch cafe. Best ever scrambled eggs. Perfectly crisp bacon. And all served with a smile.

Waited an hour for my food, never got it.Asked for a refund, never got that either.I found this restaurant online and was excited to try it. Its a very cute place, lots of unique decorations. Theres even an option to paint while you wait. I ordered through the kiosk for to go. I got a text saying my order was ready. I went up to the pick up area and was told my order would be ready soon. The kitchen was swamped with food delivery app orders and they were running behind, yet kept accepting more orders. One delivery driver had been waiting for an hour for just one order. I went up to the pickup counter again and was told was my food would be ready soon. Once I had been waiting an hour, I asked for a refund. The kitchen was way behind and still taking new orders. I was starving and couldnt wait any longer. The employee who handled my refund had trouble finding my order. Then he said I would be refunded in two days. Well, its been two days and surprise surprise, no refund.
