A Cupcake A Day...

I am probably closer to 3 stars, but I am giving the benefit of a doubt. It took someone awhile to realize they had a customer in a shop and in the meantime, another employee came in, went to the back, chit-chatted with the person working, and then came back out, and as an afterthought yelled back "hey, someone is out here". The cookies were very cute, but overly sweet. The salted chocolate chip sandwich cookie was not salted at all- I think maybe she gave me something different from what I had asked for. So overall, they were okay, but I hate to say, I've had better local baked goods. I will try to come back again so I can improve my review.

Cool little cupcake shop. Pretty small so only two people at a time. Selection of cupcakes is slightly overwhelming but that's a good thing right? Cupcakes were incredible. Eye catching and the combination of flavors made them delicious. Cookies may have been a few days old so don't be tempted. Stick with the cupcakes.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to my favorite hometown bakery, A Cupcake A Day. From bridal shower cupcakes, to holiday cookies, onto my most recent purchase, I have consistently been pleased.Shawna is great to work with, I always recommend.

I live out of town & ordered cupcakes for a friend's birthday...the customer service was excellent and the box was delivered within hours of the purchase (even on a short-staffed afternoon). They look delicious - I highly recommend supporting a local business

I live in CA and my friends recently moved to Medina. I contacted Shawna and asked if she could deliver some baked goods to them. She graciously accepted and delivered to their doorstep today! Thank you for making it happen and bringing my friends some delicious treats!

Such a gem to the Medina Square. I love cupcakes, but it can be hard to find a place that has a soft flavorful cake with an icing that isn't overbearing in sweetness. A Cupcake a Day hits the mark for me across the board.The menu changes pretty consistently, but you'll want to try the different flavor combinations available to discover something you never even knew you enjoyed. We discovered our favorite of blackberry frosting on chocolate. The chocolate cake is soft and flavorful (almost a darker chocolate taste) and the blackberry icing has an excellent blackberry flavor that isn't overpowered by butter or sugar. Just an excellent match. Also something to note is they have the basics if you're looking for chocolate or vanilla with the same great taste and quality. If you're looking to try a few but don't want to load up on calories, the minis are a great way to sample around the menu. The staff is also incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful in our gender reveal in January and made the desserts exactly what we were looking for.If you love cupcakes and are in the Medina area, take the time to make a stop and sample some of these excellent cupcakes. The only regret you'll have is that you didn't get more.

So a nice cupcake place! We came on Mother's Day and the women working gave me flowers! We bought cupcakes for the whole family and they were perfect! We loved all the variety of flavors. Wish I lived closer!

Great addition to Medina's square. The owner is always friendly. They have a great selection of basic flavors and interesting flavors. If I could get their peanut butter icing recipe that would be great :)

A Cupcake A Day was an easy choice since we have been enjoying their cupcakes for many years. We have always loved that they are a small business owned by a couple who has a big heart for their community. Their mini cupcakes were a huge hit at our wedding, especially the chocolate peanut butter! In addition to the many cupcake flavors they crafted, they also baked us a simplistic 8 inch couples cake for cutting and sharing. The cake and cupcakes were a perfect sweet treat for our non-traditional laid-back wedding.

I ordered ahead for my father's birthday and later went back with my mom for more because they were so delicious. Perfect size cupcakes, so many awesome flavors to try, and best of all - friendly, thoughtful service. Highly recommend!
