49 Street Tavern

Burger was pretty darn good. It was "burger week" so for three burger w/fries and one drink was $45. Friendly with ol' school blue collar feel.

I had a delightful experience at E 49th St Tavern! The homemade pierogies were incredibly fluffy and tasty, a true treat. Don't let the area turn you off, the tavern's commitment to safety is commendable, ensuring a comfortable environment for patrons. Kudos to their efforts in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere! They have an awesome patio and host live music!

Great wings! I love to go on Wednesdays for wing night. Great patio with full bar and tvs! The service can be a little slow sometimes. That's the only down side

It's 'That' Bar, great atmosphere inside or their beautiful patio. Reasonable priced drinks, good variety. Food is great! Burgers, Gyro's wings.......! Great servers!

Great food on our way to the CLE for a game. Their wings are banging! We head loaded fries and a pizza too and it was great. The bartender is a sweetheart and took great care of us. We will be back!

Do you want a bar where everyone knows your name? Here it is. The bartenders are kind, knowledgeable, helpful and freaking fun. Karaoke night is awesome. The regulars are entertaining and fun. The food is great and the drinks are well done! This is a great corner bar...just not really on the corner...

If you love good dive bars, then give 49 Street Tavern a shot! Our server was extremely nice and accommodating the entire time. All the burgers are massive so come hungry. I ordered the Western Burger, it was big, juicy, and have a lot of flavor. Ordered a side of onion rings and they were to die for. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Came here this past week to sample goodies for Cleveland Wing Week...had heard lots of positive reviews so wanted to give them a try! We stopped by on our way home from some errands for a takeout order of two different wing flavors and a 49 Street cheeseburger. Items traveled well and they were packaged nicely.The hot wings and sweet chili wings were both crispy and plump, covered in their respective sauces. The hots were very much a traditional buffalo style wing and the sweet chilis were sticky and sweet with a hint of kick to them.We asked for the 49 Street cheeseburger to be medium rare and it was medium at best, but the meat was juicy and the burger had a nice flattop char taste to it. Fries were fresh cut and unfortunately soggy by the time we got home (on us, not them) but the pile was generous and would have been good eaten fresh onsite.Just what you'd expect from a place with typical "pub grub" style fare...looking forward to the time when we can actually sit down inside and enjoy the food onsite!

This bar is excellent. Excellent service, excellent food, and a great group atmosphere.I got a pizza and my girlfriend got wings. We both enjoyed the food. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

Ask if they have grilled octopus or calamari, and be sure to get a burger. Also, those hand cut fries? :chef's kiss:Cocktails (like a list, they have a full bar) would make the experience ideal, but I'm probably an outlier in that here. Most folks want a beer and a good meal and you will absolutely get that here.
