Best bakery in the city! I go here every weekend to try their weekly rotating specials. They have awesome sourdough and awesome pastries/ cookies.I recommend the chocolate pretzel croissant, but everything is good. Had the cream puff today and it's so yummy.

Fantastic bakery that frequently has new treats to try out. The crust of their bread is perfect, and I am a huge fan of their lemon meringue tart. Their German style bread is also a standout-- German friends have told me that it tastes just like the ones they find at home. Staff is very friendly and happy to chat about their offerings. Expect a line on weekends but it moves very fast.

This fougasse with pumpkin seeds were incredibly flavorful, we loved it so much! The girl at the counter was lovely.

It's a special little bakery with a big bang.Frrrresh purrfectly baked items, rustic peach berry tarts choc croissant, chocolate, pistachio, croissant, plain croissant, almond croissant, raspberry croissant, ham and cheese, croissant, croissant, croissant, croissant. Best Irish soda bread I've had. Price was 9.50 and orth it.A twice a year splurge here is worth it. Almond croissant crispy and delicious not overly sweet. bread I've ever had, real real rye bread goes on eat here, not there.Worth stopping in or making the trip. Coffee next-door in their coffee bar is excellent.

A very cute, no frills, small bakery that seems to be popular based off the line out of the door when I arrived around 11am on a Saturday! It did move quickly so no worries about a visit taking too long. I ordered a bouchon, a croissant, and a blueberry scone. The items were all reasonably priced a d the bouchon was best by far! The croissant was fairly standard for good bakeries - flaky and golden brown. Blueberry scone did not have a strong flavor and was quite bland. Definitely plan to go back and try any of the bread assortment they have! There's no lack of options.

I arrived 15 minutes before opening on a Friday morning, and there was already a line of customers waiting outside this bakery! The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the line moved quickly. They have a large selection of both pastries and bread. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant and the almond croissant. The croissants were fresh, warm, and deliciously flakey. Exceptional in texture and flavor - these were some of the best croissants that I've had in Boston. I would definitely return for both these items and to try out their other pastries and breads.It would be nice if they had an indoor seating area, but at least the location is convenient as there's a good amount of street parking nearby.

If you're in Brookline you need to get some dough tomato sauce and cheese blend from Clear Flour. It is incredible! They have a cute store with great bakers. Its fast service and delectable.

A lovely bakery in a quiet spot away from the hubbub of the main streets, Clear Flour is a source of delicious and fresh bread and pastries. There's street parking around the shop, which itself is quite small. They have a capacity of three customers.The selection of bread and pastries is always amazing, but you can't go wrong with one of their croissants.

Hidden in the neighborhood between Harvard st and Comm ave is the cutest bakery ever! The staff takes pride in the quality of baked goods, breads, and more recently their new coffee café and sandwiches! Such a Brookline staple. They also have pizza kits with homemade dough, sauce, and cheese mix which is quite literally the best pizza I've ever had. If I ever move out of Brookline I'm going to need a monthly shipment of that stuff. The 2 cafés are placed right next to each other: one with coffee/drinks and premade sandwiches, the other with all the baked goods. Both locations are so quaint and unique. You definitely feel like you're getting the best of the best from a local bakery.

Love love this bakery! The bread quality is excellent! My favorite so far is the New England Night Batard, which is a mix of rye/wheat flour filled with cranberries and pecans. It's currently only available Tuesdays and Saturday after 1pm.
