We've tried...for years we've tried because the food is actually pretty good. However, we just can't take the rudeness from the owner any more. We gave up trying to dine in because the service was so bad and it was uncomfortable watching the chaos, but now you can't even do take-out without a huge helping of the owner's arrogance, rudeness, and absolute nasty attitude. We called to see how long an order would take and were told "1HOUR!" and then this POS just hangs up. So we called back and said we were trying to place an order and you just hung up on us. "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!!?". We gave him the order and he said "1 HOUR!" again and hung up. They're NEVER correct on their estimates so we even left our home after an hour had already passed. When we got there other customers spoke to us to tell us they had already been waiting there for 1.5 hours and longer. By the time we eventually did get our food it was almost three hours. No apologies. Nothing but nastiness. The POS that owns this place won't let anyone else handle the payment issues, so he's always slowing down the entire process since he insists on taking all the phone calls as well. Frankly, as poorly as this place is run I'm surprised they're still in business. AVOID CLAY PIT LIKE THE PLAGUE unless you enjoy being treated like an inconvenient dog turd on the bottom of the owner's shoe...

The food was nice, but it seems the buffet is gone now. I just don't see any reason to come back...

Initially wanted Mexican food but ended up here. Once we were seated, I was a little bit skeptical due to the wrinkled paper menus but still kept an open mind due to my lack of knowledge of Indian cuisine. Let me tell you.......I was not disappointed! Started with an array of appetizers that consisted of the calamari, meat samosa, and the three cheese naan bread. The appetizers were ok and only thing I would order again is the naan bread. Next, I ordered the lamb rogan josh and the wife ordered the salmon tikki masala. The salmon tiki masala was the star on the night! Tender salmon chunks drudged in that flavorful rich tikki masala sauce was to die for!! There were different spice levels to choose from and I would recommend dialing a notch down if you aren't used to spicy foods. My lamb rogan josh was cooked with 3 stars out of 6 and after a few bites, it felt like I was eating lava! Overall, a great experience and a place I would recommend.

Good spot for delicious Indian cuisine in Mill Creek. We dined here this weekend and had reservations and luckily no wait despite them being pretty busy.Open kitchen is nice to watch and it's a laid back casual atmosphere. Our servers were hard working, a bit to the point, but very efficient in caring for our needs. Water glasses were refilled constantly and food came out in a timely manner.Their curries and pakora were gluten free and that's all I ever really need to be happy. We had the paneer pakora, Tikka masala, vegetable paneer korma, and coconut chicken curry. Everything was delicious. Overall a solid place tho I don't know if I'd dine in again for the atmosphere but I'd definitely get take out.

Wonderful Indian cuisine with awesome vibes. I didn't have to wait long at all to be sat and enjoyed very good service. The waitress even helped with recommendations

We haven't been here since they got rid of their famous buffet. This visit was the first time we had seen their menu, we had just always gone to the buffet for all of our prior visits.Their menu was huge.... We were overwhelmed with the amount and variety of items. There's no way anyone who isn't already familiar with Indian cuisine would know what to order. I would strongly recommend that they would simplify the menu and bring back the buffet. If the buffet is not an option, please add combination plates as menu items.

The food is amazing. We first had the mussels which the sauce is so good also used the sauce to dip the naan bread into. My husband had the scallops he said they were excellent. I had the potato and cauliflower dish it was pretty good. The staff are hard workers and very nice.

Worst service! You're treated like crap. Absolutely no respect for the customer. It's just too bad, because I love their food! I stopped dining here because they are just super rude. But, since I love the food, I just call in to place my order to go. I would usually get the Mango Chicken Curry, Naan, and Samosa. So delicious, but, even the phone service has gotten worst as well. I've been placed on hold for 15mins long. They never got back to me. So, I hung up and tried calling again. I was immediately placed back on hold. At that point, I just gave up. It's really just sad, because I really like their food. I hope they do better and treat their customers with respect.

Our go to restaurant for Indian food! Food are always consistent. We've been there 6 times! I hope their buffet will open up again.

Me and my husband went all the way to clay pit. We were not made feel welcome as we entered the restaurant. The restaurant was empty , we were the only customers. One person came and handed us menu. THE MENU WAS A CRUMPLED PIECE OF PAPER WHICH WAS TORN AT PLACES.We wanted some clarifications and the owner came - he looked like he had come from the grave yard or something- he seemed pretty angry to see us, he was not welcoming. When I asked about their special he said that they were dry and without curry. So we ordered the chicken tikka masla / methi panner. The server brought the entree's. The food was too hot to eat , we almost burnt our mouth eating it. They server literally dumped the food on the table and left. The portion size was too small. The chicken tikka masala had no more than 7-8 pieces of chicken in it, and the methi panner was overcooked and burnt. When we finished the food, my husband commented on the portion size and the cost of the food as compared to similar places. OMG. The two brothers who were the owners came and started fighting with my husband. They said that they were paying $17,000 a month in rent only and they had to pay the employees as well. They said that mc donalds would be cheaper and that there was chick peas available in other shops for $5.00. OMG the two old guys were so abusive to us, my jaw literally dropped on the floor.The owners started abusing my husband and the two brothers started fighting with us like women in the streets. My husband kept on smiling and he did not say anything. But the two owners would not let go , they went on and on and were very abusive. WOW I have lived in many different continents of the world and have traveled all over the world - never have I come across such abuse that was hurled at us today. I think the owners are struggling to make ends meet, they are way out of their depth , The owners should not be allowed to run a business if they are not able to take criticism of their food and portion sizes and the cost. IF THEIR RENT IS TOO MUCH FOR THEM, AND THEY CANNOT AFFORD TO KEEP THE BUSINESS GOING, THEN THEY SHOULD SHUT THE PLACE DOWNTHEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO ABUSE THE CUSTOMER No wonder their shop was empty No one should go to a place where the customer is abused because they complained about the portion size/ quality of foodTHIS IS A VERY TOXIC AND ABUSIVE PLACEPEOPLE SHOULD NOT PATRONIZE SUCH AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO BEHAVE TOWARDS THE CUSTOMERS This is a very abusive place Please do not go to this place
