Lucky for my taste buds but unlucky for my thighs and bank account this place is located in my building. I especially love their gelatos. They alternate 5-6 flavor daily and I believe they have 30 fresh unique recipes. They have really cute merchandise there as well and their desserts are to die for! So yum! I really like the red velvet twinkie, the carrot cake, the key lime pie, and the lemon tarts. So good. Everything is really delicious here. They have won a lot of awards and once you come in here you'll know why. There's a woman there with an accent, she's amazing. I talk her ear off all the time, very sweet and I sometimes pop in just to talk to her! Sit outside to enjoy your cold brew and fancy petite dessert. C'est la vie!

My husband and I had lunch in Old Town on Sunday and popped in here for a sweet treat afterwards! We were riding around on Lime Bikes and hot so originally were craving ice cream or gelato but this cute little shop was closest. To our surprise, they had Paletas Betty popsicles! Yes, please! We split the raspberry lavender pop and it was pretty dreamy. You could tell it wasn't SUPER fresh like when getting one at the actual shop but it definitely kicked the craving. But of course, their speciality is cakes and baked goods. We didn't get any of those but you bet I'll be back to try some! The selection was pretty low on a Sunday afternoon so I would go in the morning on maybe a Saturday when they're fully stocked! Thanks for the sweet treat!

So happened to have had lunch across the street and was needing a little pick me up. Couldn't find a Starbucks nearby but luckily Classic Cakes serves coffee. They were able to accommodate my random request for an iced doppio w/white chocolate mocha syrup and a splash of half and half. The store itself is cute and girly. Of course there's bakery items to purchase but also cute knick knacks as well (tea infusers, egg pans, books, etc). Browse around and grab something sweet.

Just sat and enjoying a Perrier, coconut macaroon, and cheesecake made here. Nice and pretty selections and what I'm having is very good for sure and...I'll be back.The Koralevsky Cake is special good and have not seen prior. Is a Russian thing apparently, via one of owners here.

I was coming to Scottsdale for a bachelorette party, I had the role of getting the cake for the bride to be. I had contacted several bakeries for quotes and ideas, it was generally out of our budget or they just didn't return my email. Frustrated, I found Classic Cakes. Classic cakes had an easy online store with pictures and prices. I took a chance and ordered a ombre rosette cake for 6-8 people online. I had ordered it several weeks before pick up, but I believe they only need about 3 days. You can customized your cake with picking flavors and icing. Easy enough. I choose a chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. I picked it up, store is located in old town Scottsdale, easy to find and cute store. Everyone in the party enjoyed the cake, beautiful looking cake and tasted amazing. It was moist and frosting was not overly sweet. The bride to be love it. I highly recommend this place and the cake I ordered.

This place is delicious! I have to go here every Friday during lunch for their cheesecake. They also have a Korolevsky cake to die for! The owners are very nice and more than willing to explain all of their treats. I can't wait until they get the gelato in-- rumor is it will be here starting this weekend. My only request is that they try making a Russian Honey Cake some time. Their Korolevsky Cake is so on point I could only imagine how good that Honey Cake would be.

The birthday cake I got for my wife was splendid - Tahitian Vanilla Pound Cake with Strawberry Buttercream. It looked fantastic and tasted the same way. And my wife loved it, took pictures of it, and shared the pictures with her friends, who all commented on how lucky she was to have such a thoughtful husband. And we'll let her continue to think that. The truth is I didn't start planning until the day before her birthday. And every Yelp recommended bakery I called had a 48-hour minimum order cutoff. Thankfully the women with an accent that sounded like she came from the Baltic region was very willing to help me. When I picked up the cake, she wasn't there, unfortunately. I wanted to meet her. There was a man, who, after reading some of the negatives reviews on this place, did lack in the customer service arena a bit. Nothing terrible, but he didn't seem to enjoy what he was doing, which was nothing more than handing me a cake. I asked him if I could take a picture of him for my Yelp blog. He declined and added something about how he didn't like the negatives reviews on Yelp. I was about to launch into an explanation of how I'm leery of places with a 5-star rating, and that 4-stars was fantastic. But he seemed like he wanted to be left alone. Oh well. My thanks to the baker for helping me make my wife's birthday special.

Classic Cakes and Confections is one of a kind. I have yet to walk into a cake store in the valley that made me feel like a kid in a candy store.This tiny little shop has actual real cakes on display throughout the shop. Now don't let the flowerpot with a beautiful bouquet fool you when you first walk through the door. The real so life looking ganache plant, shovel and dirt is an actual cake. The cakes you find on display at this lovely shop are so unique I think personally I would not want to eat them. The beautiful detail of the hand made creation are "AMAZING." Each cake is special designed and tailored to your specific need. The Tiffany Bag had my eyes stuck like glue. Yes, the beautiful blue bag that women dream of is an actual cake on display in the store. I even saw a brown handbag that looked like the high end ones in the store. Besides all the creative cakes such as a golf set or robot I saw the most beautiful wedding cake with so much detail it left me speechless. "I found my future wedding cake."The store has cakes ranging from small to low end cakes. Each cake serves a purpose so the prices are based on ones need. The store offers dinner cakes from Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Butter cream to Chocolate Butter and much more. You can choose from various flavors and fillings. The gentlemen who helped me was very knowledge and helpful. Though I did not by anything my browsing experience was so much fun. I am sure I will use this cake store in the future but I will defiantly in the mean time going to refer them.

All this hype for nothing .Don't waste your time trying to find it.Came here looking for a birthday cake ,with a high expectation base from previous review.Not the case,no one came out for about 10 mins and finally someone did ,not the friendliest woman with a DO NOT CARE attitude .I would say ,a lost sale opportunity.It's not worth it ,Don't bother nor waste your time here.
