Been meaning to try this place, and finally had the opportunity. It does not disappoint. We ordered the hanger steak, chorizo, green salad, and halloumi. Everything was better than expected. Salad was perfectly dressed with good sized chunks of delightful blue cheese. Steak was grilled to perfection -- medium rare. Harissa chimichurri, and smoked yogurt prepared with quality ingredients and attention to seasoning. Flatbread freshly baked, soft, and warm. Cocktails are stellar!! I had the Ciudad old-fashioned and my husband had the carrot margarita, which was surprisingly delicious. We ordered enough to have a little leftover and left the place with full bellies. Ambiance is hip, casual, and scaled back. Sort of industrial and a bit artsy. The primal mural on the wall is the focal point of the efficiently set up dining area. Our server was attentive, experienced, and knowledgeable. Had good recommendations and an authentic, yet not overly friendly demeanor. We'll be back!!

A hidden gem in Georgetown. Their tapas style menu is focused on meats & vegetables cooked perfectly over a charcoal grill. Their flavors are influenced from Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Greece, and the entire Mediterranean region. So in short - mix and match the small plates, meats, and sauces and get immersed in their flavors. We ordered the following items and everything trust me everything was delicious.1. Appetizers: flatbread and dip(hummus, labneh & baba ghanoush), saffron cauliflower (apricot and date molasses), patatas bravas, grilled kofta (mind blowingly delicious)2. Entree: Tahini marinated chicken thighs & Shawarma spiced shrimp. Both the chicken and shrimp were beyond amazing and so flavorful and perfectly cooked.3. Dessert: Labneh Panna Cotta (this was my least favorite dish of the night but still good) & Flourless Chocolate Cake (they do their flourless cakes right)4. Drinks: Their drinks menu is innovative with beets, carrots and burnt honey. We tried Roasted beet margarita, Hey rhu-barbie!, Spiced apple sangria, Oh bee-haveIt is a nice quaint casual spot. Service was amazing. Parking can be a little painful but you find a spot around the block. I can see this place have a wait time for weekends which is why we chose a weekday. Highly recommend this place when in Seattle.

Ciudad is incredible. The sauces are where it's at!! They're all delicious and so fun to try. The meats are also incredible and I love that they give you a little salt to sprinkle on top. The ambiance is quirky and comfortable. The service is consistent and the servers all seem very invested in the restaurant. The beet margarita was so unique and delicious.

Visited Seattle and surrounding cities and our local family told us about this place. We went on a Saturday night around 8pm and there was a 40min wait so we opted to come by on Sunday. We came back on Sunday at 8am and there was no wait and plenty of tables available. I was told that this place is usually not so busy on Sunday nights so noted for next time.We ordered family style and shared all the sides and proteins. The proteins were priced by the lb so we grab 1/4-1/2 lb of each time we wanted to try. We also grabbed a couple of cocktails. The food came fairly quick and the server was attentive and friendly. Overall the food was delicious, what stood out the most to me was the baba ghanoush , carrots, chorizo and my cocktail. Will definitely go back again when I am in the area!

So this place is HIDDEN in the best way. So I walked in and was like am I in the right spot ? There was a deli counter only and a few metal tables I felt so dumb I asked them about a pickup order and they pointed me to this solid grey door and they told me to go right in . I opened this heavy door and was TRANSPORTED to a different spot ! It was trendy , cute, intimate, fun and lively ! I ordered the hanger and pork collar to go since I just drove three hours to get here after a 10 hour shift . I just wanted to relax with wonderful food . These entres were absolutely wonderful ! Flavorful , succulent and delicious. Every bite was seasoned and cooked with care and passion . I can't wait to dine in one day . Thank you for your friendly hospitality since I was greeted instantly . Food was outstanding!

It has been a bit since my last review. Ciudad is as wonderful as ever. A gem in Georgetown. Clean, casual, fun, but also with class. The service is consistently great. We always feel well cared for and appreciate how they all work together to coordinate timing from the kitchen and grill. It's always a challenge to decide what we want because there are so many delicious small dishes to choose from in addition to grilled options. Carrots versus cauliflower? Can't go wrong either way. Save room for dessert! I miss the coffee flan, but did enjoy the panna cotta with toppings that felt perfect for evoking warm holiday feelings. I don't usually drink alcohol but know they have a great selection.

This is THEE spot. When it comes to food, flavor, and frill, Ciudad is serving up an eatery experience unlike anything else in Seattle. This is a flavor first restaurant offering shareable grilled items along with big flavors on small plates. Trust the educated staff to guide you, as there are lots of savory sauces and spreads, lots of creative cocktails, and lots of truly unique and fresh menu items and ingredients that are absolutely worth exploring. Perfect for a double date, or group eating!

On 3/16/24, I went with two others to dine for dinner here. The entrance and sign is small enough to miss the restaurant, but you enter a space with a small deli counter and a grill for what looks like a take out space with a few barstools to wait. 5 steps into the place and there is a door that is heavy, made of metal that you pull open. Eat your Wheaties before you grab that door as it is heavy as hell. It opens to the restaurant that is filled with loud conversation, music, and people. The serving staff is pleasant and engaging, but the wait can be as long as an hour. Reservation are only for parties of 6 or more. We were able to squeeze in at the bar counter. A space designed, ideally for people 5'10' or shorter. The chairs at the bar counter border on torture, but the bartender was a delight. She was engaging and checked on us at appropriate intervals as I watched her perform magic at the bar mixing drinks I had a purple rain drink that was delightful, refreshing, with a splash of Prosecco that went well with the Prince song playing at the time.!We had humus and flat bread that was delicious, the bread was soft and warm. We shared Patatas Bravas: crisp Yukon gold potatoes with spice, a bit of salsa brava m, and a roasted garlic aioli that was wonderful. The Saffron Cauliflower: beautifully prepared with hazelnuts, dried apricots, and date molasses. This sweet/savory dish was amazing and well done. We ordered the chicken. Now all the meats and vegetables on their main dishes are grilled. I would grill everyday if possible and I am a chicken aficionado. The tahini -based spices and seasoning was tasty and I wanted more. The meats and veggies are ordered by the pound. So paying $44 dollars for a pound of chicken was catching but worth the experience. We also had a small bowl of raw vegetables that were refreshing and a great balance to the flavor intense chicken. Now this place is described as mediterranean, but the chefs are Spanish speaking and clearly have added their influence on the flavors. This can be missed by many but appreciated by a few. There is also a back room with a few more tables and a large plant that I would love to take home. I love the art and murals. I would like to come back, but I would need to remind some of my friends that the cost may be out of their range. I did not ask about to -go orders, but assumed they have them. An experience worth repeating.
