City Works

Food was great! Had the Smoked Fried Chicken and my date had the Kung Pao Cauliflower w/chicken. It was a bit warm, please turn up the A/C!

There were 8 in our party. We had a reservation and the restaurant had reserved a high top table for us but were very accommodating when we asked first a standard table instead. The vibe is casual chic. Service was great.The food was very good. We started with pretzel bites and zingy Buffalo Chicken Dip to start with. I had a delicious glass of white sangria while others had beers (good selection), soft drinks, etc.For the main course I chose kung pao cauliflower with shrimp. So YUM! The tacos were a big hit, the chicken wrap and avocado toast were tasty but ordinary. The Nashville Chicken sandwich was also a standout.Great experience. We had a lot of catching up to do so we really appreciated the patience and never felt rushed.

City Works is a decent taphouse/restaurant in line with Yard House and the like. The atmosphere was decent, but it didn't exactly feel lively on Tuesday evening. The Kentucky hot chicken wrap was tasty, but nothing over the top, but prices weren't bad either.I imagine it's much more lively on the weekends, and definitely a place. I would visit again, but also not somewhere it strikes me as a must visit destination.

Cool atmosphere, lots of room for teams and groups. They also have a bunch of beers on draft. I loved that we were able to order any of the drafts in 3 different sizes so you can taste what you want! We ordered the 5oz size of a few things on draft and it was perfect. The food was okay, about what we expected for bar food, decent selection. We got the shredded chicken and it was a bit dry, but the mango garner sauce was really tasty so that made it taste better. We felt like the music selection was a little off, a touch loud like a bar, but with the feel of a lounge, but that was just our perception. Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you want a large selection of draft beer at different sizes with plenty of space to socialize with a group.

So bad service , I have allergy for space food and server don't say me nothing about soup and soup so space I'm so sad about this place

Got lured in here by a coupon campaign with $10 off, and it's not bad. The service was excellent, and the vibe is pretty cool. It was packed but not crazy noisy, and the background music was lively rock n roll vaguely 90s thru mid 2000s but not so loud to give headaches.I got a decent salmon salad, but I think $20.45 is a bit much. Maybe I need to get acclimated to these post pandemic prices...Anywho, I have a 20% off coupon left so I'll prolly be back for Happy Hour. Haha

Stopped in at City Works last night after we needed to find a place that was open a bit later. Did not order food. I had a flight of beer that I had customized meaning I could choose whichever beers I wanted to sample. This is a nice perk if you want to try a variety of beers though they offer specific flights as well. It was unfortunate that 3/8 that I requested wasn't available. Really enjoyed the rose cider. Throwback music was on point. TVs all over the walls to enjoy games. I would be back for a chill place to hang out. It's also not super loud where you can't hear the people next to you so make it a good place to catch up over beer. Also if you're not a fan of beer, they also have wine, cocktails and seltzer!

FOOD:We got the queso dip and pretzel bites. They were pretty good. Nothing especially fancy about them. They were what you would expect. DRINKS:I got the cranberry mojito and my friend got an old fashioned. The mojito was really tasty and I finished it really quickly! My friend said the old fashioned was also really good. I was impressed by the variety of drinks they had. They had A LOT of different beers and ciders. SERVICE:The service was pretty good. It was what you would expect at this sort of restaurant. AMBIANCE: We were just stopping by before going to a wedding reception, so I didn't want to sit outside, but they have a cute outdoor seating area with a large screen TV. It also looks like they have an area for bocce ball. It was a fun atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon.

The thing that I most dislike about city works is the price. The items are priced about $1-2 more expensive than you'd find at a general pub. But when you consider City Works is located smack dab in the conference/hotel center then it makes sense. Other than paying $12/ea for a Blanco tequila shot!The TVs are awesome! They're newer models so they're nice and clear. Whoever was running the stereo was on point! I counted at least 2 Kanye songs! lol! There's outside seating with a full-size TV! NOICE!Even though it is a tad pricier, the food tastes really good! It was so good that we ended up ordering more than we originally planned. From the popcorn chicken to the ribs and burgers, everything was hot and fresh. The sauce with the cheese curds could be better, but all and all, I can't wait to return for fight night!

9-1-2024Just an important update. Their kitchen is back on track. We had a WONDERFUL Blackened Salmon Salad prepared perfectly this date by Sous Chef, Mario. We now highly recommend City Works once again for a great dining experience. The White Cheddar Burger was delicious per my spouse.Josh did a great job as Manager on Duty and Becca the server also ensured a great dining experience. Keep up the good work, City Works!
