I walked here from Hotel Adeline after my plane landed because I was super hungry! Found this cute little spot on Yelp so I made the trek across the street :)This deli is located in a larger business building, so it was a bit hard to find. I entered from the back of the building and asked for directions. It was easy to find with the guidance! It was lunchtime so it was busy, but the line moved fast and the woman working was very kind and helpful. I ordered the garden fresh wrap and added in turkey. The garden fresh wrap was incredibly fresh and delicious. It was light and perfect! I loved the hummus on it, with the added splash of oil/ vinegar. I got a side of pasta salad with it, which was also good! If I lived in AZ I would frequent this spot!

Came over for lunch for a quick bite to eat! Had the hot pastrami and Swiss on marble rye. Prices for the combo were exactly you would expect them yet after getting the quality of the sandwich you realized you got a great deal on quality meat and bread. The pastrami was on point with the right amount of mustard. The marble rye was perfect and the meat stack was thick with no skimping. Great chip selection as well as fountain and bottle drinks to choose from. Food came out super fast and hot and freshly made. Definitely a good spot for a quick lunch.

Had the scottsdale special sandwich and it was good but a little too much bread. The food was fast and the staff were friendly. I wasn't a fan of the pasta salad though. Hard to find location.

City Market Deli is on the bottom floor of the Portales building where I used to work. Due to the convenience of this little deli, I would often forego breakfast at home in exchange for a quick bite here. My favorite item was the breakfast bagel sandwich, in which you are able to customize your bagel, meat, and cheese. I also enjoyed their lunch options on occasion as well. This spot is super convenient for those who work in the Portales, as well as those visiting at local hotels or living in the adjacent apartment complex. While the food here is excellent and fairly priced, by far the highlight of this spot is their staff. It is run by Mike and his wife, a lovely couple who pride themselves in their little deli and its offerings. They learned my name quickly and were beyond friendly. They went as far as remembering my orders and appearing genuinely happy to see me in the mornings. Overall, while I am glad to no longer be working at my last job, I certainly miss City Market Deli and their lovely staff.

Horrible service. I ordered a half sandwich salami and cheddar with mayo and mustard and it took them a 1/2 hour to make. They lost the order slip and offered no compensation. The order should have been complimentary or a credit provided for a future visit. Truly disappointing.

This is some of the best service in the scottsdale area. I also really enjoy the food. This is one of the best BLT's I've had from a deli. Their coffee is always perfect and the breakfast sandwiches hit the spot during busy mornings. Highly recccomend
