City Market Deli

Mid-conference I was in need of an afternoon pick me up. I saw people with Starbucks in hand and knew there had to be a secret coffee shop. They make Starbucks drinks in addition to sandwiches. The cookies are delicious! Don't sleep on them!! They didn't look like anything special but were!

I was in the area for some work related training. This cafe and deli is the "go to" spot for all of the people in immediate area. I saw they had chili so I had to try it. The bowl was smaller than I'm used to, especially for the price. It was pretty tasty, and expensive. The cookie was amazing and dangerous. It had macadamia nuts, chocolate chunks and coconut. It's so good. The other options looked way too expensive for my wallet which is another reason why I opted for the chili. If I had to be back in the area, I'd stop for another cookie, hands down.

We were on the hunt for a really good sandwich before our grocery trip! While a little intimidated at first since this is in a business like plaza, and felt a little off while business men and women came in for lunch while we were dressed in cozy clothes but that did not stop us! We loved the food and the service! Although a little pricey we left full!

Locally owned and operated this is deli is outstanding. They use Boars head meats and everything is fresh. My go to is the jersey Joe with either pastrami or Turkey. Get out there and support a local business!

If the cooking time for orders wasn't so wildly different every time I order something I would've reviewed this place with five stars.It makes no sense that this deli is as good as it is and has the range of options that they have given where it is located. It is in Skysong, near a few office buildings and an apartment complex. It's tucked in, parking specifically for this place would be a nightmare I'm sure.For me, I've worked in Skysong twice in the last 4 years - so I've been to City Market or Sky Market (they go by both from what I've seen) probably 50 times. The sandwiches are great, the tacos are also surprisingly great and they added a teriyaki bowl to their menu that is absolutely delicious. They also have starbuck's coffee and some convenience store options (ice cream, drink cooler, candy). My only gripe is that sometimes my food takes 5 minutes, other times it takes 30.

When I meet a friend who works at Skysong, we go here sometimes. It is HANDY as heck, walkable from all businesses/ASU departments. The food is always "okay", The bread is really doughy like a hot dog bun, even for their Italian sandwich. The side salads are okay. If you have time, go to Fate (which we did last time). The line here can get very long. There are spots outside to sit in a park like environment if that's your thing. Prices are a bit high $10 or so for a sandwich. But if you work here and didn't pack lunch it serves as your cafeteria. For that I bumped it to 3.

Great local deli place I frequent often when in town. You can get great hit or cold sandwich's with chips and a drink for $10. They also have a great selection of wraps and salads. If you a pick me up they have all the caffeinated concoctions you can desire. Good, friendly and quick service. Family owned.

Every time I order something the portions are extremely small and the price is too high. 7.50 for my order of 2 eggs and hash browns, pic attached.They are just unreasonable, the amount they charge for what they give you is insane.
