Relaxed atmosphere, great staff, and delicious dishes with big portions. My 14 year old son had the quesadilla and ended up with left overs, that never happens. Come here hungry!

I love this place! It looks like a lil hole in the wall but it's sooo much more than that!! The food is amazing, every time. Whenever I'm in Fed I make it a point to stop by here. The salsa is super tasty, one of my favorites. I usually get a carne asada torta, tostada or tacos. Everything is delicious. The pricing is unmatchable & I can' believe they've pretty much kept prices the same the last few years. If you love Mexican food definitely give this spot a try

I see so many good rating. I am shocked! This is the most bland food I've ever eaten. Coming originally from California I'm apparently use to real mexican food. Let me tell you this isn't it. Go anywhere else. Even Taco Bell.

Just moved into town from LA. In my journey to find the good local authentic Mexican restaurants, I spotted this place from the Fred Meyers parking lot. The family here is super nice. I can tell they really care. Really easy to chat with them. A+ service.I ordered the Arroz con Pollo because they had a $1 off special. MAN, THEY GAVE ME ENOUGH FOOD FOR 2 OR 3 PEOPLE! Pretty dang good. Rice covered in cheese covered in chicken mushrooms onions and covered with a tomato salsa. Side of tortillas. Did not disappoint.Less then $20 spent with an horchata. I am having a fantastic time listening to the music here and eating this great food. The quesadilla appetizer was great and it had the best guacamole I have ever had, and the chipotle enchilada is not letting me down. Great place, super friendly staff and great food!

Food isn't bad for suburban strip center Mexican food, particularly recommended the fajitas which were great!

Been there three times and each time I leave thinking, "Well, that was OK but not a lot more than that."Growing up in Arizona and living many years in California, I've had a lot of Mexican food and the chili relleno is my test. If it's good, chances are everything else will be, too.First time I was there, I had a relleno there that hadn't been cooked quite long enough as the pepper was still crisper than it should have been. The cheese was melted and the egg batter nicely browned but it was just a little ... off.On subsequent visits, I had the small order of meat nachos (with chicken). That was fine; tasty and hot (temperature-wise). Another time, it was an a la carte taco and tamale. Both decent, though I thought the tamale was a bit heavy on the masa.The salsa is apparently house-made so very fresh but lacking heat. A little Tabasco or Cholula sauce fixed that.One more thing: even though I've always gone at the height of the lunch hour, the place has NEVER been busy. I'll leave it to others to decide what that means, if anything. Just throwing it out there...Bottom line: it's OK but there are other Mexican restaurants around that are better.

Was given the recommendation to try this restaurant from my Des Moines community FB group, There were quite a few recommendations, so I tried them out one night when I needed to grab dinner out.I ordered on the way over and it was ready ahead of the promised timeframe. The restaurant wasn't too busy on a Wednesday night, it looked clean and well lit. I ordered Arroz con Pollo (no pics, I was too hungry). When I got home I was happy to find a small paper bag with chips and two kinds of salsa, red and green. The Arroz con Pollo was served on a large oval paper plate (lined with foil) and it was a huge portion. It had great flavor, lots of chicken and mushrooms, not too cheesy (which was great for me) and was served with 3 tortillas. I gave the leftovers to hubs for lunch and he had a generous portion.I would definitely try this again, maybe dine in next time.

Pretty good, daughters like them so we had our Christmas Eve Mexican here. Enchiladas were good, carne asada was very tasty, chile relleno was good too. There green salsa served with chips was very good. Not a bad spot over all.

Ordered take out. I ordered a combo with a burrito and a tostada. I couldn't even tell if I got them. The container looked like all beans and rice. When I located what was supposed to be a burrito and a tostada they were so soggy and unappetizing I couldn't eat anymore. We will never eat there again. Other than the steak, everything else was bland anyway.
