Fish tacos were really good. Come with a side of homemade creamy salsa and a refreshing (verde?) sauce.
Pollo enquesado (lunch portion) and added grilled veggies (no extra charge). Good flavor and solid portion for lunch.

We love this place. Waitstaff is friendly, food is amazing. I had the steak street tacos and really tried to order something else the next time, but I couldn't stop craving the street tacos. Food is fresh with great flavor.

Julian was my server and he was very nice, friendly and very polite. I have come here many times before as this place has been here for as long as I can remember. I have always had mixed reviews when I come here but I have never had a really bad experience or been super disappointed. The food was really good this time. I had the barbacoa chimichanga and their chips and salsa were really good too (salsa has a bit of an extra oregano taste but not too overwhelming). This visit I had a good experience overall.

This is my uncle's favorite place! Anytime we meet up this is where we go. Great food and service! We'll be back. I have posted some pictures of the food we got this time. I had a peach margarita on the rocks with tajin. I'm particular with my drinks and this was the best balance of all.

There are two entrees I always use to evaluate a Mexican restaurant, Carnitas and Chile Relleno. Tonight we ate there and the service was very fast and friendly. The food was all delicious, most especially the Carnitas! Tender, juicy and great flavor. The best I've ever had in Nashville. Next time I'm going to try my other favorite.

Cinco de Mayo Mexican restaurant is just off of Interstate 40 and was convenient to my hotel. The service was decent, but unfortunately, the food was mediocre. The Nashville, Tennessee area has some fantastic Mexican restaurant, unfortunately, this is not one of them.I went with one of their burritos. I've had burritos all over, this was okay. Unfortunately, that seems to be the theme of this restaurant, it is just okay. Is not very authentic and even for Americanized Mexican food, it is still not very good.Sadly, I cannot recommend this establishment. It was not terrible, but results are not very good. As I said, Nashville, Tennessee has some fantastic Mexican restaurants. Check one of them out before coming here.

The worst mexican food I've ever had in my life. I am from San Diego, I'm visiting Tennessee and was craving mexican food. Mexican food here is nothing compared to San Diego mexican food. The chips and salsa were good, the guacamole was very bland. Margaritas were great and a good price for the pitcher. The food was terrible. The chicken in the crunchy taco had absolutely no flavor and tasted old. The taco itself was tiny, it hardly had any toppings on it and the shell was not crunchy. The cheese enchilada was very bland and the sauce they used was tasteless. The chilie relleno was odd, normally they have cheese in them but this one had chicken. Even though I did not order that. The chille itself was not bad but like I said the chicken here is flavorless. Surprisingly the rice and beans were the worst thing on the plate. The beans had such an odd flavor that I couldn't even take 2 bites of it. The flavor completely ruined my appetite. Overall, I'm sure if you're from the south this food might be authentic to you. If you're from San Diego or anywhere where they have authentic delicious mexican food you will not like this.

And for the third time today they neglected to include my entire order and then suggested I drive back for the rest. I advised I was not able to drive back and I wanted a refund. He said the. Bring the whole thing back. I exploded and told him of my past problems with missing items from previous orders and the employee vaping in the bar and his reply was bring it back for refund. He called back and offered to give me another meal and I said I have absolutely no intention of ever coming back give me a refund.Nope - so, that's the garbage mentality and business practices there. Complete idiot la and lost a customer who gave them a LOT of business for 20 years. Never ...NEVER again ya idiots

We used to go there at least once per week and have gone there as many as 5 times per week, but we don't go as often now. The prices have become ridiculous, especially for the amount of food you get. It still tastes much the same but the prices have gone up and portion sizes have gone down. Also, as with all Mexican restaurants around here, they need more spices. I think Mexican restaurant owners think American's don't want spice, but we do! When we make it at home it is so much better because we spice it up. I just hate to cook anymore.
