Zip dip is a fun little soft serve ice creamShop in the west side. Friendly service. Quick and good. Lots of seating around and even porch swings. Can be had to find parking but there is plenty on the street. I got the chocolate malt and it was delicious

A nice seasonal ice cream shop good classics of a nice local stop and eat place to enjoy ice cream on the go or relaxing near it. The service is great and very friendly.

This place is awesome for creamies. They alternate their flavors and have a crazy big amount of toppings. The staff is always so sweet and helpful as well. 10/10 Would recommend!

Zip Dip is another good ice cream stand. It has much of the very same offerings the others do. This one is in a pleasant location. It has a nice seating area. The parking lot is crappy. I had a cotton candy slushie. It's a flavor not many dairy bars have. This is about $2 for a medium. A lot of ice cream flavors are here. There are more than 50 flavors, with many of them common and some odd ones. It has a nice seating area. There's a few tables and a porch swing. I recommend this for anyone who likes these small ice cream places. It's better than going to a worldwide chain. The service always is cheerful but not excessive.

A small walk-up stand with two order windows. Zip Dip has been a favorite of Westsiders for generations. A Westside institution really. After passing this stand on numberous occasions, we finally decided to give this stand a try.Topping and mix-in selection is plentiful at Zip Dip. Candy, cookies, sprinkles, nuts, dips and sauces are all available. Several flavors of Whirlybird granola are also now available. There are far more options in that department then flavors of soft serve. Chocolate and vanilla are standard, with two revolving specialty flavors. I prefer my soft serve without toppings. As such, a small flavor selection is a drawback for me. That being said, the chocolate soft serve is rich, creamy and smooth. One of the better chocolate soft serves I have tried. A strong chocolate flavor. Bench seating is available on either side of the building. Tables and a swing are available on the other side of the parking lot. Some of the tables are shaded. At busy times, it can be hard to find parking.

It's easy to pass by this tiny West Side establishment, but its pastel colors and neon border will grab your eye. Soon enough, you'll be pulling a U-turn into their parking lot.Zip Dip dishes out over 50 different kinds of soft serve, from your traditional flavors to the more eccentric. If you know me, I always opt for the eccentric. At Zip Dip, this would be the crème brûlée soft serve. Then I got really adventurous and went with a crème brûlée milkshake. It was incredible! I highly recommend giving it a try, if you're bored with the classic flavors.I can also recommend the regular chocolate shake, which is just the right combination of cream and liquidy to be a thirst quencher.Zip Dip's "small" shake starts at 16 oz., which is more than enough milkshake for me. Wearing your elastic pants? They serve milkshakes in 44oz cups. That's almost three pounds of beverage!Zip Dip has been a West Side legacy since 1950.
