Zinks Meats & Fine Wines

Zinks merits a visit especially Friday afternoon.Very distinctive meat centric menu and dining. Friday PM is a special time because of live music.Caveat: do call ahead to reserve tables; dining area is very small. Look for creative wine menu.Hostess advised us that band may be delayed due to reported bus accident and a female member.Great dining and entertainment.

I should start off by saying that I did not review the wine selections. As a new resident in Ohio and a transplant from California, I have generally found the wine selections to be less then inspiring so I've given up.In terms of meat, they've got everything. Whole chickens, half chickens, quarter chicken skinless chicken, skinless thighs, bacon, sausages (Italian, bratwurst, Polish, etc.)They've got briskets ,steaks, roasts, hotdogs and hamburgers, and, of course, buns for everything. The place is always very busy, but have no fear the staff know what they are doing and they're fast, efficient and knowledgeable.

I've heard wonderful feedback on Zinks but I'm not sure how I should feel. We ordered filets for V day and they were were very disappointing. I'm used to a nice thick filet. This was about an inch thick and just ok. Not worth the $30 for flat filets

Absolutely my first stop when I get into town. Thanks Pete for coming out from the back with a handshake! No visit to Ohio would be complete without some super salad and Pete's pasta!!

If you are looking for a casual and informational wine tasting, this is the place. Every Wednesday there is a tasting accompanied by music. The music is geared toward an older crowd and I love it. The wines to taste are always different, the service is awesome and the knowledge about wines is incredible. If you want to learn about wine or you know your wines it is a great time. There is a very nice selection of wine and if you choose not to do the tasting flight, you can select a bottle of wine and drink it while you listen to music. The food is delicious (being a meat market) the hamburgers are outstanding and the twice baked potatoes are scrumptious. They usually start early, around 5 and the seating is limited so it might be good to call ahead to get a table or seat at the bar. My go to place every Wednesday!!

First time for a visit, just wanted some hamburger and buns. Ended up getting potato salad, pimento salad and ham salad after tasting it. Really love the potato salad, big and chunky potato with egg and some pickle notes. Pimento salad is creamy and has a wonderful pimento cheese flavor.

Dave & crew are first class with quality meats & homemade deli style sides that are to die for ! I'm not a wine person but they have a very good selection of wines to accompany your meat selection. Their fresh made sandwiches are off the chain and you won't be disappointed!

You place your order at the counter and the sandwiches come with a small side. They serve what has to be the best Reuben Sandwich in town. It was full of meat and kraut but not sloppy. My side was potato salad and it was good but a little small.

Great place to buy your fresh meat. Customer service is outstanding. Always a pleasure to shop here.

I use Zinks for carry out. The staff is friendly and the wait is short. The food is great! The hot dog was so good and big that I had it for two lunches! My son loves the Reuben.
