Z Place for Wine & Cheese

This is a fun evening hang out spot. The staff and owner and super friendly and making coming here fun and relaxing. It's a wine bar with a small menu (chicken salad and charcuterie in the evenings). They do wine flights and tastings. On Friday nights they feature live music which makes for a fun atmosphere. They have a few non-alcoholic choices and some good bourbons as well.

Lovely little wine place in the Montgomery area. The owner and the staff were super friendly and nice. We came here a bit before our dinner reservation and had the place to ourselves. The cheese board and the wines we tried were very good.

The wine flight offered the night we were there was ok. This could be a nice little place to visit with some tweaking. We sat on the patio since we had our dog with us and the service was just ok. When we made a reservation we were asked to preorder the tasting flight and charcuterie plate. When they were delivered to our table we got no information on the cheeses or wines. We had to ask and got the names of the wines but nothing else. Training and wine knowledge would be essential for this quaint little spot to survive with all of the other wine options in the Cincinnati area.

Wow! Great food! Great service!! Great selection of wines!! I had a Groupon coupon for a wine tasting for 2 so my daughter and I went to do the tasting. My husband came along for lunch and to try a glass or two. The wine tasting was outstanding!! The cheese tray was so tasty and huge!! Check out the photos. My husband got the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant- it was huge!! He thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We wanted to get a dessert only they were out so she gave us some chocolate fudge cheese instead - WOW!! Try the chocolate fudge cheese - ITS AMAZING!! We will defiantly be back.

Kind of on a whim my bff and I decided to go here and we are both glad we did. It has a neat look to it inside and you will find yourself almost completely surrounded by wines from around the world. The cafe there sells really yummy food - I can personally vouch for the fantastic chicken salad. Already I want to try the salad that has beets because I love beets. Even got a slice of blue cheese torte to go. It's frozen and you can keep it that way and thaw it out for company or just for yourself. We both got one since we both like blue cheese. There was a different flavor of torte to choose from. Besides the chicken salad, they have quiches, hummus, salads, sandwiches, soups and the piece de resistence - desserts from Bonbonerie!! This is another place that I can't wait to visit again especially since I'm a fan of supporting small businesses. The proprietor was friendly and told us about other events they have there.

My Mr. and I been wanting to try this place for sometime. We called and asked on the wine tastings. You have to make reservations. Which with it you get a cheese plate. We were sold and made it for 5:30 pm (tastings are from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm) on a Saturday. We walked in the owner was super friendly and very knowledgeable on the wines. I love how the place was cozy, spacious and just newly remodeled. For a small place, they have so much to offer. Catering, lunch, brunch, desserts, gift ideas, small section for craft beers to go, cheese and crackers to go, patio and offer door dash! Whew! So much that I was impressed! When we sat down, we didn't have to wait, our cheese plate was already ready. They serve the wine tastings at your table. Such great service! Our wine tasting for the night are whites. The cheese plate was delicious and filling (with crackers) with two chocolates (milk and dark) to finish off as dessert. We tried:-True Colors Cava Brut-Palladium Pinot Grigio -Sittano Chardonnay -Bosco Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo SuperioreMy fave is the cava brut and Pinot Grigio. Very great selection that paired well with the cheese. After we finished we looked around. You will be super impressed with the wine selections. Very organized and categorized by regions. Red blends, white, Italian, French, Rioja, Rose, sparkling, etc... we ended up buying a bottle of Sangiovese which was reasonably priced.We had such a great experience that I want to come back for lunch. I want to thank the staff and the owner for a great time.

The service was impeccable, the music great and not too loud, and the board was delicious!!! Called to reserve a wine tasting. They specially made ours for our palate. Walked out with several bottles of wine that we tried. I fully recommend this place and plan to come back if I'm in the area again! It's a must stop! And make sure to upgrade to have the goat cheese too!!!

I recently went into Z Place for Wine with a large group of ladies celebrating some birthdays. It took us a while to figure out what we wanted, but the staff was very helpful and understanding. We got 3 bottles and a cheese plate. The cheese plate had a good array and selection of cheese and crackers. The staff kept us filled up with water and brought extra glasses as more of our party arrived. They were even willing to split up the check. Excellent service and selection. Excited to go back and try some different wines.

It's a pretty place but it's so off the mark for what they are trying to do. First there's no clear understanding how the place works. Is there a wine list? No. How do you order? Find the owner and tell her what you like. Does she tell you what she poured? No, just hands you a glass of wine. Does she come by to see if you want another? No. Do you know what they carry? No, you have toLook through all the bottles. It could be so much better, it's just a complete mystery from start to finish

Lovely place to sit and enjoy wine! Loved the cheese plate! We went on a night where they had live music, but it wasn't so loud you couldn't hear the person sitting with you.
