Johnny Cash Tribute Band VIP style!? Sign me up!! I was crossing my fingers that my husband and I would get in! When I got the email, I was super excited. I love Bogarts and Music! This was right up my alley. Performing was the The Ultimate Johnny Cash Tribute Featuring Terry Lee Goffee. We arrived alittle after 8:00 p.m. to checkin. Smooth Transaction (loved our swag bags, thank you so much)! So simple and quick!!! We were already upstairs in the VIP area! There was so much fun going on that night. I got to chat with yelpers before the show and was really excited that my husband finally got to meet you, Cindy!! Loved the Vendors -Patty's Old Fashioned Popcorn (you get to choose your salt toppings), F&N Goode Chick'n Tenders (you get to choose dipping sauces-Awesome Sauce which is a spicey chipotle ranch, Blugrass BBQ, Buffalo and Honey mustard). I really loved the Awesome Sauce! Went really well with the chicken. The two drink specials were Yelp Me for $5.00 which is red snapper crown, ameretto and craberry. Ring of Fire for $4.00 which is Bogart's long Island. We didn't get front row seating. Sat on 2nd row, still a great view. What I love about the VIP area is that there is a bar already there (plus the servers wait on you), your own bathroom and NO wait! How super cool was that? The show started at 9:00 p.m. and I think the quality of the sound was pretty good. I can still talk to my husband while enjoying the show. The music selection was great! All my favorites that I wanted to hear, Terry Lee Goffee sang them! What an awesome experience, felt very special and honored to be there! My husband and I thank you, Cindy for throwing this awesome event and hats off to Bogarts, staff and vendors for a job well done!!!!

"I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die..."A group of us Elite were treated to a VIP experience at Bogart's during a fantastic Johnny Cash tribute band show a couple nights ago! Great show, yummy food, nice company, and all the Yelp swag that you could have! The good:- Our own VIP area with bartenders & waiters.- Private staircase straight up to the VIP area.- Our own bathrooms!- No lines, no waits.- Complimentary pop[Yelp]corn!- Samples of chicken with different sauces.- Chocolate coins on the tables. - The swag bags (with free tickets to an upcoming show).- Reduced price drink specials.- Feeling exclusive in the VIP area.- Great view overlooking the main floor -- and not too far from the stage.- And of course, the free tickets for the night!- JOHNNY CASH! Love. The reasons I hesitantly took away a star:- The acoustics. The VIP area itself is sweet but we couldn't hear the music well due to the high conversation level and the music seemed to stop before it hit the VIP balcony. When we went down to the main floor, the sound was SO much better. I wonder why.- The lighting. I'm a newbie to the area and I depend on sight to communicate (I'm hard of hearing). Usually, there is decent lighting before a show but it was really dark up in the area before and during the show. My husband and I decided to keep to ourselves since we didn't know anyone and couldn't really see. Fortunately, Cindy introduced us to a couple other Yelpers early in the night; we hit it off and enjoyed the wonderful company (thanks, Cindy!).- It was cold. Too cold for a music venue in an area where we sit.- The drinks were OK. We didn't love them. Bummer. The people who work at Bogart's are very friendly -- it's a very pleasant venue. And, not only did each person with a swag bag get two tickets to an upcoming Pink Floyd cover band show, but as we walked out of Bogart's, we were each handed two MORE tickets! NICE! My husband and I look forward to coming back for a few more concerts. There's been some (and will be) big names here. We enjoyed our evening, thank you Yelp/Cindy + Bogarts!

I had a great time tonight! We arrived a bit before the rush and were able to walk around the venue, check out posters of the acts of event past. There have been quite a few big names, which makes we want to put Bogarts on my watch list for upcoming shows. The VIP section was laid out nicely and I can picture this being a great option for groups, gatherings, and more. The staff were very friendly and informed me that VIP seating was available for every show and this is something I will surely keep in mind for upcoming performances. My only complaint was the lighting prior to the concert. We were mingling, having a good time, but could hardly see each other. If I were hosting an event where I rented out the entire VIP area I would want to be able to see who I am chatting with. The bartenders were quick, no long lines, and the pricing was very reasonable. I think I paid $5 for a substantial sized craft brew.F & N Goode Chicken tenders were on site providing delicious food. Since I was already a big fan of their offerings, it was icing on the cake. They had four dipping sauces, a southwest ranch, referred to as "Awesome Sauce," a homemade Honey Mustard, Bourbon BBQ, and a Spicy Buffalo. I really liked the BBQ and Buffalo. Judging by the empty container of Awesome Sauce I would say it was a crowd favorite. The tenders were juicy and breading was crunchy making for a great sampler. (I'm pretty sure I ate 15 samples which equates to more than a full meal.) I live on the East Side so it was great to try local food from the West Side, which I avoid at all cost.(JK) I will be visiting this tender location on Crookshank Rd. in the near future. The band was great. I couldn't believe how similar the performer sounded to Johnny Cash and they put on a great show. Again, I am very particular about my sound and I would love to hear the lyrics more while at a Bogarts show. Being elevated in the VIP area was better than my previous experience on the floor, but still left something to be desired when it comes to vocal quality. As I mentioned before, I will add Bogarts to my watch list and look forward to attending shows in the future.

VIP experience at Bogart's is a most! Apart from having a separate entrance you have a bar that has no line! We were greater by the Yelp staff and handed our tickets and amazing swag bag (tickets to another show included!!!)It was my first time At Bogarts and I'm definitely coming back. The drink prices are reasonable and is a huge stage. My only wish for at this point is that someone there does something about the sound, you could barely understand the lyrics. Thanks Cindy and team for another fabulous event!

I completely forgot to post my review for this, tho i really enjoyed the concert, the tribute to Johnny Cash was amazing, and being able to experience the Bogarts VIP section was quite the thrill. The sound quality was pretty decent all around, although sometimes it was difficult to hear the words being sung. I like how the outdoor smoking patio is setup, very pretty, comfortable seats, and nice lighting. The girls VIP bathroom was clean and even had an easy outlet to use for plugging in a phone or whatever. The lite-bites that were available from F&N Goode were very tasty, chicken bites with 4 kinds of sauces to try. I most esp liked the Blue Grass Option on my chicken.I would deff recommend Bogarts to my friends from now on ^_^

What a great time we had at this event! Parking was fairly easy but make sure you have cash. I have never been to Bogarts before but i will likely go if the right band comes along...and I can sit in VIP again :) We had our own entrance to the show. No line and a direct stairway to the VIP balcony. They had several bartenders and multiple servers so cheap drinks with no waiting was a huge plus to this event. We were up there for an hour before the band took the stage but it was too dark to mingle and meet the other Yelpers. Being new to the group I had hoped we would have that opportunity. It did give me a chance to just chill out and enjoy my wife's company so Im not complaining. The band did a great job. They were a little slow coming out of the gate but picked things up eventually. It was cool to hear the balcony come alive when the singer gave a shout out to the Yelpers. We ate before we came but that didnt stop me from firing down some of the best chicken tenders I have ever had. I tried the buffalo and the BBQ both were amazing. That chicken could stand on its own without sauce. It was seasoned perfectly and nice and tender. Thanks Bogarts for the great show and hospitality. Thanks Yelp for the great event and the opportunity to be part of it. We are looking forward to the next one.

Another great Yelp event! We had our own VIP entrance to the venue since the venue was open to whoever purchased a ticket. This led us straight upstairs where we had our own bar and tables to sit at. We also got swag bags which included two free tickets to Pink Droyd at Bogart's which is AWESOME! Free popcorn and chicken tenders from F&N Goode meant there was plenty to snack on. But if that wasn't enough, each table had a bowl of snacks on it as well such as animal crackers, pretzels, chips, and chocolate coins. The bar had a couple of special drinks for the event but I stuck with Puma Pils from Rhinegeist for $5 for a 16 oz beer. It was also great since it was a +2 event so I was able to bring my wife and a friend. My wife hadn't been to Bogart's before and her friend wasn't familiar with Johnny Cash so they were both introduced to a new experience. I had been to concerts at Bogart's but never upstairs before. Since we were given wristbands, we were able to go downstairs to the main concert area and return back upstairs. We stopped downstairs for a while to get closer to the stage and interact with the crowd.Overall, a really fun event from Yelp and Cindy. Yay!

I have always loved attending concerts at Bogart's. I really enjoyed this event. I think what made it so awesome is the fact that the VIP area was not over crowded. The tickets to the Pink Droyd show is awesome! The swag bags were super adorable! The YelpCorn was such a cute idea and it was delicious! The thing I loved the most was being introduced to a new chicken place!!! I loved the chicken with the different choice of sauces! I am very picky with my food so this was awesome!! I will for sure be taking my chicken binge habits there...All in all it was an awesome event! I'm over the "pushing people out of the way to get as close as you can" I enjoy sitting, eating, and drinking. Unless its a Bad Religion, NOFX, or Against Me! Concert then I'll push my way through, but most of all I just like to sit and relax!Awesome event Cindy!

Last Friday night, August 15, 2014. My first Bogart's experience and it was GREAT! Johnny Cash Tribute Band, VIP balcony, great drinks, excellent service and fantastic food--Patty's Old Fashioned Popcorn with a variety of toppings and F&N Goode Chick'n Tenders with your choice of four sauces. It was nice to have our own bar with drink specials just for us and even nicer to have our own VIP Balcony restrooms. The view from our seats and table were better than I could hope for, but if we really wanted to go downstairs closer to the stage, we could come and go as we pleased. Who could ask for anything more? The accoustics are a little wonky, making it difficult to understand lyrics of songs I'm not familiar with, but it didn't detract from the experience at all. FUN TIMES!Hey F&N Goode, I have to give you 5 stars already even though I haven't been to your place yet, but I can guarantee we will. Thanks to Cindy and everyone at Yelp Cincy and Bogart's for making a really fun event. Truth be told, I was having a [majorly] challenging day that day, but this event helped turn it around.
