I've stopped in a couple times in the last few weeks and have been very happy with the quality of the meat I've purchased and with the customer service. Both times I got some Waygu ground beef and some Prime steaks. Strip for my husband and a filet for me. And I bought some short ribs also. All of it was delicious! The Waygu ground beef made some of the best grilled burgers I had in awhile. The steaks were awesome too! I also grabbed some mushrooms from a local grower that they had in the case.I saw they also had some salmon, pork ,and deli salads among some other items in the cases. I'd stop in again.

We were looking for steak and picked up the Brazilian cut of picahna, a horseshoe-shaped sirloin cap that's not something you can usually find. It's used mainly in Brazilian steakhouses on a skewer. The butcher/owner explained all this and how we could cook and season it at home, which was so helpful and not really something you can expect at Kroger. The shop specializes in whole animal butchery of cows, lamb and pigs and in stocking Wagyu beef. You can call and reserve various cuts/make special orders. They also have prepared food like Cuban sandwiches, lobster rolls and salads that vary by day. They do grill outs and recently had fish frys for Lent. They even have wine tastings and live music. Their Facebook page details lunch/dinner options and events.

This place is the real deal. They offer great friendly service in a small town neighborhood setting. They also serve a lot of dishes in addition to their cuts of meat. Their wagyu hamburgers are the best and their home made soups are delicious.

If you are looking for Wagyu, you have found it! Luscious beef available here, along with fantastic sandwiches and you can even sit, eat and have a bottle of wine. Very friendly service!

Only serving the BEST of the BEST! The Wyoming Meat Market serves PRIME and WAGYU beef. The best cuts and Jim breaks everything down so the meat is fresh. Family owned and operated butcher shop - not many places out there like this anymore where they know their customers by name. Jim and Mary are wonderful people and they are always helpful with cooking instructions (for my Mom) telling you the right temperatures, seasonings etc. to helping you plan a menu for your party. They have food available daily - soups, sandwiches, pasta and potato salads, ribs, chicken, meatloaf and more! They can special order you lamb or duck and pretty much anything you would want they can get / make for you. They are extremely accommodating! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

There is just something so intimate to me about butcher shops. You really develop a relationship with your butcher. They learn what you like, your tastes, what your families tastes are, and that to me is an intimate as you can get. And at Wyoming Meat Market - this is what you are going to get when supporting them vs. the counter at Kroger. They have quality products (check out their FB page for daily specials, offerings) everything from pork, chicken, USDA prime steaks. They also have pre-prepared entrees you can choose from to pick up and take home. And a large deli case with everything from potato, pasta, and fruit salad, sides, and fixin's for sammies. I hear their chicken salad is quite delicious. A great little shop along the Wyoming strip, stop in, stay hello and get a steak to grill tonight.

Being on the carnivore diet I've been exploring many of Cincinnati's butcher shops all across town and Wyoming Meat Market while close to me is on the bottom of my list by a very wide margin. I walked in and it felt musty and unclean in stark contrast to every other butcher shop I've ever been in. Maybe that's supposed to be part of the charm. Some of their cases are so old the glass is fogged and it's hard to see in them. One of the staff was friendly the other while not rude came across as "angry and unpleasant" is the best way to put it, it was far from welcoming. There were no prices on their meat (I should've asked) and I didn't see them weigh my order as I couldn't see over the counter. There was a scale on the counter that they didn't use. I guess they just priced it as they saw fit and I paid more for what I got then I would have at any of the other three butcher shops I've been to west of 75.Overall, the experience sucked and I see no reason to go back.

The best meat market both sides of the Ohio. They have everything you could ever want, in a charming atmosphere, served up by the best people. The owner Shelby, and her team, are all extremely knowledgeable and are genuinely happy to help!
