You really cannot go wrong with a drive-in! This is one of the really good ones! Pretty good variety of items on their menu and the food is very good. My go to is usually a coney dog and a frosted mug with homemade root beer. This time I also got a burger and a side of o ion rings. Yes, I was stuffed and I ate every bite because it is so damn good! Service is always good as they usually have young women and men who can manage all of the running they do between the cars and kitchen.

Been meaning to come here, but it's a bit out of my way, and the last time I swung by it was closed (on a Tuesday I think.) Mainly interested in the root beer.Stopped in today, not busy on a weekday afternoon. Decided to eat at a table, and there is separate parking from that (on the left; drive-in parking on the right.) Big parking lot, portajohn for a bathroom. Covered dining area, nice breeze, fast friendly service. Pretty straightforward menu. Sadly out of sausage for their signature Rebel Burger, so I got a single and they suggested the Rebel sauce and cheese, to make it close. Also got a short coney, because, I mean, dog is in the name. Baby K got a corn dog, and we shared fried pickles.The root beer is made by them, and, well, it's fine, nothing special. I commend them for making their own- local, original, different. It came iced, not a good thing. Not in a frosted mug; I assumed it would be in one, should have asked I guess. Pleasant enough. A little rooty, a hint of wintergreen. No head. Refreshing but not great. K loved her float. And the corn dog. The short coney (not a fan of footlongs) was pretty darn good. Good bun, good dog, lots of cheese and sauce, and the sauce seemed homemade. Tasty. The burger was pretty darn good. Good bun, meaty burger with crispy edges. The sauce seemed kinda like homemade tartar, maybe mayo and relish, though a bit more yellow or orange than that suggests. Combined to make a good burger, but would have also been good without.The fried pickles were the surprise star. I am generally not a big fan- they are often thick, and the batter slides off. These were thin slices, the batter was crispy and perfect and stayed on. Yum.All in all an excellent experience. Not worth a detour for the root beer, but for a nostalgic lunch with good food and good service at very reasonable prices, I'll be back. And I'll still have a root beer because even just-decent root beer or floats are better than no root beer or floats.

We went to Wot-A-Dog today and had a wonderful experience. Typically I always get a a coney dog but wanted to try something new. I got a bacon cheeseburger. It was fantastic! My oldest got a pizza burger and said it was amazing. My middle son had the chicken sandwich and said it was really great. My daughter got chicken fingers and said they were her favorites. The breading in light, the chicken is juicy and tasty. The kids loved their shakes and I loved my root beer in a frosted mug. We will be back! Great service, great atmosphere, great food, great prices! .

worked here 9 seasonsit was sold to someone who never had foid service background..He changed everything..nothing tastes like it did..

Stopped in while in town and glad we did! Super friendly customer service! I ordered the foot long coney and curly fries. The coney was delicious and the curly fries were fresh and hot! My husband got a double bacon burger and said it was perfect. We were pulling a trailer so we did not utilize the car hop service but it looked great! We will absolutely we back in!

I've been a frequent patron of this business since I was a little girl and not once have they disappointed me. I love this place and the service is great! My family and I stop here pretty much every season (Spring/Summer) that they're open for a quick bite. I usually get two hot dogs (sometimes just one depending on how hungry or not hungry I am) and I always enjoy them very much! All in all, my family and I always look forward to coming here, and if you're in the mood for hot dogs and are around in the Dayton area, swing by here one year and try it! You will NOT be disappointed. Trust me.

Food service staff were attentive and nice. The food prices were reasonable. The short dog was okay, not any different from eating any other hotdog. I love a good mug of rootbeer, but ours were served in regular cups. The root beer was insanely sweet, might as well have been syrup in a cup. I could only drink a few drinks. The peanut butter shake was good, probably something that should stay on the menu. The chicken tenders weren't anything that stood out. A homemade batter might do better. The fries were okay, not much different from any other restaurant. Kind of disappointing, but then again I lived in the time of the original Wot a Dog, and that's a lot to live up to. :)

Step back into the 1960's without leaving your car!! What an amazing experience to have a car hop who brings everything you need to you !The Best Root Beer in the area Period. If you like RB floats, this is the right place! Great Burgers and the pork tenderloin is big enough for two people to share!The fries are perfect but they need a good cole slaw...I Highly recommend this Drive in !
