Wings Etc

Tried to eat at Wings Etc tonight. Party of five. Got seated, several employees looked at us. The bar tender just looked at us and walked away. Even customers that were eating looked at us and shrugged in sympathy for us. However, no one attempted to speak with us until we decided to leave after 15 minutes. The worker said, "oh sorry we didn't know you were there." We've had this place several times and will NEVER be back!

3.5 stars, rounding up. Wings Etc will always have a special place in my heart as they were the first local establishment we explored in the summer of '20 on our whirlwind trip to determine relocating to Eaton.....Anyway, it's a fun sports bar atmosphere most of the time. Keep in mind it is a chain, and a BIG chain based out of Indiana. I didn't realize that at first, but the fact that calorie counts are printed on the menu should have clued me in.The decor is Ohio-centric as far as the teams. There's a good number of TV screens but I'd say it's not excessive as you see in some places. When it's not a big-game time, they have music from a Pandora or similar feed and once in a while it's been tuned to some ugly stuff or has been way too loud for dinnertime. But that's the exception. Service is generally good and attentive. I've found that sitting on the bar side is by far my preference, as we were unhappy with service on the other side more than once. It's a pretty big dining room and I think it could be easy for your table to be unintentionally overlooked.The beverage prices are outrageously high, including soft drinks. And they will charge for a little extra sauce on the side. Again, a corporate chain policy. As far as the food, I have to say the wings are not their high point but several of the "etc" are really good - particularly the 'diner style' double-patty burger. And the tater tots are killer, fries are above average too. The burger is huge, and with your two included sides you will definitely not leave hungry. The fish and chips dinner is also highly recommended - however if you are a purist, bring your own bottle of malt vinegar as they do not have it. (More than one waitress has said 'people are always asking for that' - well duh, maybe you should provide some then? Corporate strikes again.) The ribs were good but not good enough to justify the price.This one's a regular in the rotation.

Ok choice if you're in the area; it's on par with a Roosters, Frickers, or even semi BW3-ish, but I think it was sort of over-priced. Quick, friendly service, reasonably well done wings/bar food, no complaints. I imagine it might get pretty crowded here on busy game days, but we had the place pretty much to ourselves on a recent late Sunday afternoon/early evening, post-football/pre-baseball. With an appetizer, two orders of wings, and a couple of drafts, not sure how our order inched up to nearly $50.00, but that it did. I'm guessing there might be some better value/s during happy hour...??For the price, I might have been happier elsewhere, but there's not a ton of choices in this area, so all's well that ends well.... Not great, not bad, perfectly A-OK.

The food and service were top notch! our server Blair went above and beyond for us all night! Even when they were obviously busy would give 10 stars if possible and 10 stars to Blair as well truly a great server and person.

Sat there for 40 minutes and never got served. No one ever came to the table. They weren't even busy. We watched others that came in after us that they knew get served drinks and food. We were totally ignored as they walked right past us. We'll never be back.

We have eaten there a couple times. The staff is great and so is the food. Highly recommend it.

Ate here a few days ago, my family and I got extremely sick. Woke up in the middle of the night and started throwing up. I still can't hold anything else down. Don't eat here unless you want food poisoning. I know for a fact it was the wings because the only person in my family that didn't get sick did not eat the wings.

Food was trash no taste absolutely the worst restaurant that I have been to in years. It took 45 minutes with nobody at the restaurant to get boneless wings and some shrimp shrimp was over cooked in Greece that had to be at least a week old. My chicken chunks were hard as rock. I honestly think somebody should have the food department.

Good place to eat if you're in Eaton, but think otherwise if you have other options. The wings are ok, but hey, what else are you going to have a sit down meal? Service is average, medium wait times and the decorations are a little all over the place.

There are many inappropriate things on the walls and on t shirts but the food is great service is usually good but sometimes the servers can get kind of rude I would 9.5/10 recommend
