I'm super disappointed that I had not discovered this place sooner. The ambiance is cozy and quaint, and the food is delectable. I had the opportunity to visit with my colleagues. They were excited to eat here and now I know why. I had a fried tofu poboy (not the menu name) and it was very good. I also tried a scone. Definitely would love to visit this establishment again. The best part is that is that it is not far from home.

Great little ambiance in this little market just outside of Lexington. Had a good menu to choose from with locally sourced meat. We ordered the chicken salad sandwich (not pictured) and the crispy fried chicken sandwich. The special sauce is basically tartar sauce. I would recommend getting that sauce on the side. Wish the chicken had more toppings and condiments. Fried chicken was cooked well. Definitely recommend trying this place out. Will be going back.

This is my favorite restaurant ever. The vibes are awesome due to the location. The service is always top notch and friendly. The food is the best around. Outia is one of a kind, truly has the Midas Touch. If I can afford it, she's catering my wedding. MUST get the breakfast burrito at least once. It's slightly different than the one at Zim's in town because it uses breakfast potato's instead of hashbrowns, and it makes all the difference. I E'ffing Love Windy Corner.

This restaurant was just off the expressway and was recommended to our group as we were driving back from a weekend away. There are menus available as you come in, and you put your order in at the register as you enter. We came during brunch, and they had a wide variety of breakfast and lunch food available. And everyone was able to get something they enjoyed. I got the Vegetable Breakfast Wrap and a 1/2 order of Biscuit and Gravy. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and could be split with a friend. The vegetable breakfast buritto was also good. I really liked the sauce in the buritto and found it not to be too overwhelming. There were some side options that did come with the buritto. There was a lot of parking available which made getting in easy. You also get to enjoy some farm lands with horses as you make your way to the restaurant, which makes for a great drive.

Super cozy and cute vibes at the Windy Corner Market ! This restaurant/ cafe is a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of UK, which I am a fan of! The service is always friendly and efficient (also welcoming!). The food is comfort forward and delicious! I got a burger and really enjoyed it! I came with a few friends and they also enjoyed their meals - I look forward to coming back!

Super cute country store and restaurant. It definitely is a little discovery if you're in the Lexington area. The food was ok, but the relaxed location and friendly staff are a plus. You order at the counter before sitting. They have so much to offer from baked goods; local things, and liquor. It's a nice little pit stop. I enjoyed the fish. The coleslaw and Brussel sprouts needed a bit more seasoning for my taste, but it was ok. It was fresh and cooked to order.

A beautiful drive out Bryan Station Road leads you to a scenic restaurant called Windy Corner. Located at the corner of Hume Rd and Bryan Station Rd. Surrounded by beautiful horse farms, you can watch the horses play as you eat!Today, we stopped by and had their banana pepper rings as an appetizer. Good coating and comes with ranch dressing and cocktail sauce for dipping. Very flavorful and I enjoyed them very much! Personally, they would have been better with marinara sauce (I didn't ask if they had it), but still very good. My wife and I ordered the catfish and also the chicken fingers and split them so we could have a fish and chicken dinner. Each was served with crispy and hot french fries. The chicken tenders were nothing special. Just your basic chicken tenders, fries and slaw. I believe that they were hand breaded in Wisenberger Mills coating. Small pieces, basically oversized nuggets of chicken breast. For a dipping sauce, I had honey mustard. Personally. They were a little over cooked, but it was your basic chicken tender meal. Nothing special. Coleslaw was bland and warm. Could use some black pepper, dill or other flavorings besides just mayonnaise. Needless to say, neither of us finished it. The catfish included 2 large servings of catfish fillets, 2 hush puppies, fries and slaw. It came with a remoulade Cajun style tartar sauce. Again, the catfish was coated in a Weisenberger Mills coating. Catfish was very bland and overcooked. Hush puppies were so overcooked, they were almost black when served (see attached photos) I think they had some jalapeño pepper or something inside them, but after one bite of mushy disappointment, I decided to pass on them. Just not good. The catfish may have been more flavorful if it had a lemon with it and wasn't so overcooked, but that's just a guess. Other observations:The waitress had no problem walking around to all the other tables, but never checked on us to ask how the food was or to be able to ask them for a lemon or anything. Ketchup bottle on our table was empty and we had to get one from another table. You would think they could feel an empty ketchup bottle when they wipe the tables, but I guess that's expecting too much. This should NOT be considered anything family friendly. The waitresses were talking about making Christmas candies and used quite a few cuss words in their description. Then someone from the kitchen chimed in during their conversation about F-this and F-that. Not a place I would want to take my grandkids or out of state guests! Conversations bounce off all the walls and can be heard anywhere in the restaurant. I hate leaving a bad review, but we have tried this place before and thought maybe we caught it on a bad day back them, but sadly, this place is just a mediocre, non family-friendly place that the drive is definitely not worth the difference. Pass this one by. Not worth the trip!

Another dining establishment that is worthy of more stars than I can provide in my review. Nor can I do it justice but I will try. We started off with warm beer cheese which came with a wide assortment of vegetables and warm rolls to dip in the cheese. Next I had a bowl of steamed vegetables that were seasoned with salt and pepper. I eat veggies all the time and I've not learned how to prepare them like this. My veggie bowl was filled with new potatoes, Brussel sprouts, zucchini, yellow squash and broccoli and seasoned with just salt & pepper. I requested that they leave out the butter to make it vegan. There were one or two other items that could have been adapted to be vegan. For dessert we enjoyed beignets with a homemade chocolate sauce that was divine. It was just hard to describe how delicious it is. Just order it and enjoy it.
