Wiedemann Hill Mansion

I cannot speak highly enough of this gorgeous old home. I was built by The Wiedemann family which is known for the beer empire. The mansion was decked out in full Christmas and there was ample parking. You get out of your car and the view just stops you it is so beautiful. The whole staff was so sweet during the whole wedding and I was impressed how pretty much everything came with the venue. The food from Vanderman's (SP?) was so incredibly tasty. Also loved that they had porch heaters and blankets so you could still enjoy the view and be warm. The place is perfect for a 60 person wedding and really not crowded at all.

Amazing views of downtown and Mt. Adams! Beautiful building, beautifully restored. The owners have obviously poured a lot of love and quite a bit of money into making this place a great destination venue. Wonderfully landscaped. Fantastic porch. The parking is nice! Wonderful attention to details on the interior. Take the time to notice the small things, they're done so, so well. If I need a place for a smaller party and I want to impress, this is the spot!

The first thing we knew we wanted out of a venue was a small size - we didn't want more than 60 people in attendance. We picked this location initially with the guest count being are only criteria, but we were almost immediately surprised by so much more. The view, the gorgeous interiors, and the rich history were all things that finally led us to choose this as our venue for our wedding. But, above all else, was the venue owner - Roger Swonger. He went above and beyond to make our day as special as it possibly could be, and with his help, our wedding day went absolutely perfect. With just one planning session, and a couple of tours, Roger was able to guide us through the perfect day. He communicated well with all of the vendors, was able to provide an amazing wait staff, and bartender, and even thought of the small details - placing some flowers on our small wedding cake, putting a pen by the guest book, etc. Most importantly to us, as a now husband and husband duo, was finding a venue that was accepting. This was Roger to a tee - not only did he treat us with kindness, he guided us towards other LGBTQ+ friendly vendors as well. With his support and guidance, we had a wedding that completely surpassed our exceptions of what a wedding could ever look like in an area like Kentucky. I don't think there is any universe where we could have had a better wedding, and this is all thanks to Roger, and all thanks to having our wedding ceremony at Wiedemann Hill Mansion.

I had the wedding of my dreams at Wiedemann Hill Mansion May 19 2012! Not only was the venue absolutely stunning, Roger and Donna really helped to make the whole wedding experience extra special. From the moment I stepped into the front doors of the Mansion I knew I must have my wedding there! The grounds, view and mansion were breathtaking. I didn't even consider looking at any other venues. The quality of service far surpassed my expectations. Donna was there every step of the way, she is truly an experienced professional and very easy to work with. I planned my wedding from out of town and she was very flexible with meetings and always answered my emails promptly! It was such a stress free experience. Donna made sure every aspect of the wedding was covered, she was very organized which really helped to ease my mind on the big day. Everything ran smooth on the day of. The mansion's wonderful views provided us with many amazing pictures and memories. We had our first dance and all of our dancing on the front veranda, an unforgettable atmosphere! An amazing place to get married with an even more amazing staff! Thank you so much Roger, Donna & Roger for everything!!! If I could do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing, an amazing day!!As an update, (5 years later) We had an amazing Anniversary Dinner at Wiedemann Hill Mansion. I cannot say enough amazing things about Donna, Roger & Katherine. They truly made our evening so special and one we will never forget! The beauty of this venue is unparalleled. You can truly tell Donna loves what she does, as she does it so well with thoughtfulness and has every last detail covered! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making all of our special occasions so perfect!! If you are thinking about having your special occasion here, Book it now!!! You will not regret it!

Our company recently held an offsite leadership meeting at the Weidemann Hill Mansion and we couldn't have been more pleased. Katherine Archambault went out of her way to make this an exceptional experience. The mansion is magnificent, both the breakfast and luncheon served were delicious, and the accomodations for the meeting were excellent. I can't recommend this venue highly enough. The customer service provided by Katherine and the lovely surroundings made this a most memorable experience and our hope is to return again soon.

We just got married last Friday night and are still buzzing about how great everything was at WHM. When renting this venue, you are not just getting a mansion....you are also getting a wedding planner (Katherine and her staff were great), a place that decorates itself (which means you can save $$ on flowers), all plates and linens, oh and how about that killer view with free fireworks on a Friday night of a Reds home game? The inside of this mansion is both stunning and historical. Your guests will find all kinds of conversation pieces both inside, and on the giant porch that overlooks the city of Cincinnati. We had several of our guests approach us throughout the night telling us that this was the best wedding they've ever been to. We aren't just tooting our own horn, but this place is that absolute best if you are having a wedding/reception for 60 people or less. You also must go with Funky's Catering, which was the most customer friendly of the 3 preferred caterers at WHM. Seriously, if you're looking to separate your wedding from all the other church, beach, park, and backyard weddings....go with this place! You and your guests will be talking about it for a long time.
