I can't believe others rated Werner's at 4 stars. This is definitely a 5 star restaurant for many reasons. My meal was delicious and fresh. The prices very low for a modern new establishment.ALL the staff chip in tone your server And there there for all your needs. The menu is widely varied with a wide variety of items.I chose polish sausage with mashed potato taters and sauerkraut which I posted a photo of- just delicious.Thank you Werner's for existing.

Beef brisket was burnt and very hard like well done hard but cold. Driest beef I ever had. Drier than jerky. Reasons i didn't give the food 1 star:* Service was kind, but was a self service at the counter. * Mashed potato and gravy was okay/good. * Restaurant is slightly cold but clean.Reasons I should have given it 1 star:* Driest beef brisket I have ever had. Burnt at most edges and tastes like pork jerky without sauce.* I came in hungry, I came home and threw up. * There was beer on the floor for the longest time and no one cleaned it up

Good food with okay service. Upon entry it feels like a standard sit down eat in restaurant but then the twist. For some reason they have you order at the counter, pay your ticket, grab your drink from the dispenser and sit down with a table tent. The server will bring your food and then wait your table like a normal experience. Not sure if they were having problems with dine and dash or just the servers not being able to take orders efficiently but it was odd. So when you walk in the have several menus on the counter for you to look at. It's a standard BBQ joint menu with all the regulars and nothing that jumps out. I went with the Three Meat Sampler and chose pulled pork, pork chop, and chicken. I also added potato salad and baked beans. The food took about average time to come out and was the expected temperature. The pulled pork was a tad bit dry/overcooked but had a good flavor and the spicy bbq sauce complimented it well. The chicken thighs were served boneless and seasoned well. They were dry in appearance but moist when eating them. The flavor was really good and when paired with the mustard sauce. The pork chop was the star of the show and would be what I order next time. The potato salad was good when I added some salt and pepper and the baked beans were heavy on the brown sugar and molasses but were good. Overall, I ain't mad and enjoyed my meal. I was craving a dessert at the end (not sure if they have any) but couldn't add it to the ticket and didn't want to wait in the line at the counter to order it. Side note: you can go sit at the bar and have a full service experience. The bartender seemed rather personable and kept everyone entertained while waiting on them. That'll probably be what I do next time.

Hubby & I stopped in here on our way home from Columbus. You order & pay at the counter. Our food was delivered in less than 5 minutes. Hubby ordered pulled pork hotshot while I got the pulled pork with mashed potatoes & sauerkraut. I also ordered a side of baked beans. Cornbread came with our meals. This is a family owned restaurant & the friendly owner stopped by our table & gave us samples of mac n cheese, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw & their house made pickles & house smoked sausage. Everything was beyond delicious & top quality. They make their own BBQ sauce (sweet or spicy). There is a bar with several TVs to watch sports & you can eat at the bar also. They are only open Thur-Sat due to labor shortages. I hope that improves because everyone should try this amazing BBQ. We will be eating here whenever we're traveling along I-71.

Hog wings check amazing but too expensive for 1. They are like 7 bucks. Ribs are amazing! Highly recommend. The staff are all friendly. The facilities are very clean and plenty of seating.

The pulled pork was excellent - but the star of the show was the Saratoga Chips. I love good potatoes if any kind and homemade chips are a extra favorite of mine. They are thin and crispy and warm! Yum. The corn was just ok. The iced tea was fine. Service...eh. It could have been better. They dropped off my food and never came back even tho the girl at the register said that they would be around for refills and whatnot so I would take off half a star for that if yelp would do a dang half star. Anyway I would comeBack and I would have the pork again and would try the brisket next time too. Good atmosphere although pretty cold in here but I'm cold almost everywhere lol.

Arrived late at Fairfield Inn Motel. Was recommended Werner BBQ next door for a place to eat. Walked over and was greeted. You order before being seated. We ordered from a menu / paid and seated ourselves. Had iced Sweet tea to drink. We both had pulled pork and sides.Seating was comfortable. Staff stopped by to make sure we liked what we ordered. We did not order desert but saw several people eating a variety of pies. Good food / Good customer service / Great location

First off... let me start with saying that the beer is way overpriced. you can literally buy a six pack for the price of one beer. You're definitely not going there for the atmosphere. That is for sure. It's definitely not world class barbecue either, it's average at best. I hope the place changes because it's local. I will say, though they keep trying.

I wouldn't drive out of my way for this place. Overall, I had a mediocre experience and was t impressed. I've been to BBQ places like this with ordering at the door, open floor plan and an option to sit at the bar. 1st ordering station at the door could have been more cheerful and not so bothered. The have signs posted at the door that takes away from their Specials Menu. As for the food... I ordered 3 meat for $20, which is reasonable compared to around the country. Along with their homemade Lemon Blueberry cake... Smoked chicken chopped, brisket chopped and ribs w/ green beans. The smoked chicken was juicy and favorably smoked to my liking! Chopped brisket... I recommend to get sliced otherwise you'll get the top stringy strips of the brisket and not the actual meat. Ribs are t fall off the bone type, you'll need your fork and knife or a good set of teeth. No need to worry about the rib juices because there was none. Green beans were okay, the broth was good. The cake... didn't taste home made and only ate half. Many places like this have trophies and BBQ sauce stations. No trophies here and 3 unmarked sauces at the table. I tipped at time of purchase, had I know, not sure I would have left a 15% tip. I was asked about my food and I said it was okay. I gave them a 3 star. Decent off the freeway BBQ food.
