We Smokin'

Finally stopped by to try the bbq here, and I was not disappointed at all! Mr. Jones was very friendly to me and the other guest while we were ordering our food and even offered us a couple of little samples. I ended up getting a half rack of ribs with a side of baked beans and Mac and cheese. I'm usually very picky about ribs and usually throw them out, but these tasted great and were a nice portion! The baked beans were also delicious with a brown sugar taste to them. Lastly, the Mac and cheese was also very good. Everything tasted like a great homemade bbq and not something you would get at a chain. Will definitely be back!

We Smokin is now located in Norwood on the Kroger lot. I picked up a full slab for my mom and cousin. I got 1/2 slab for myself. I also purchased 3 sides, mac/cheese, greens and pinto beans. I come from a cooking family and they are good at it. My mom and cousin loved the ribs. They were seasoned, tender and sauced perfectly. In fact my cousin wanted me to go back for another slab. They also commented they would go back for the sides as well. I devoured my half slab while standing at the kitchen table! I noticed this visit that the business is veteran owned which makes this even better. I work at the VA and have served veterans for over 30 years. I am thankful this veteran is doing something he apparently loves!

My coworker and I could smell the delicious smoked BBQ from down the street and decided we had to have it. A very friendly man greeted us to take our orders. I went with the $12 Dinner (Choice of meat and 2 sides) and got a pulled pork sandwich, mac & cheese and baked beans. My co worker did the same, but got the rib tips. Both portions were generous and slathered in delicious barbecue sauce. The rib tips were especially tasty! You can tell the mac and cheese is homemade, which is a plus. The baked beans were good, but a little sweeter than i prefer. They also had some sort of spice in there that i couldnt quite figure out. Overall, the food is very good and reasonably priced. I cant wait to go back and try the chicken (we saw him saucing it on the smoker as we were leaving)!

I found the food truck on the way to work and it was absolutely delicious. I got the rib tips and they were so good that I share them with the rest of the ER. The crumb cake was fantastic as well. Highly highly recommend

We Smokin' Ribs & Chicken is at Norwood Surrey Square Plaza off Montgomery (not sure about Mitchell). I'd always see the smoke and nice line they had whenever at the plaza or waiting at the intersection for light to change. Finally decided to stop there for lunch at work one day and it did not disappoint. After looking at the whiteboard (and be observant for it changes daily) I approached the window deciding to get ribs (for chicken wouldn't be ready til 230p; something apparently happened to pit so he started later like 1030a to slow-cook meats accordingly than usual). They had a nice smoke to them and sauce (although sort of bare) was tasty but take that's done for one to truly taste the meat so I'm with it! The sides I got were greens and mac. The latter was stove cooked instead of baked and wasn't giving what the cashier said it would gave when contemplating what to get. For sure I'd be back. Cost isn't that steep and received a nice helping. They're open Tues-Sat from 12:30p-6p.

We went during advertised business hours and waited for them to open. They never did. So disappointing.

My family and I got the turkey and rib tips and they were absolutely delicious! This place is a hidden gem and a must go to for bbq lovers.

I tried the pulled pork sandwich with a side of greens. The pork was tender and very heavily sauced-had to eat the sandwich with a fork. It was fine. The greens were classic and not overcooked which was nice. Good flavor. I got a bit of the Mac & Cheese. It was good. They said a second side would have raised the cost from $12 to $19. The owners were very nice with gorgeous smiles. The food was tasty I just hope they don't price themselves out of the market.

I stopped by We Smokin' because I heard a lot of great things about the food truck. I was not disappointed! The owner was friendly, the wait wasn't long, and the food was excellent! I will definitely be back.

We found this place looking for the best BBQ near the Cincinnati Zoo. We purchased ribs, 1/2 chicken, and turkey tips. The ribs and 1/2 chicken were AMAZING. I found the turkey tips a little dry, but others in my party thought they were great. The sauce is soooo good. Didn't try any sides but the Mac and Cheese and the greens looked good. Prices were good, too.
