VUE 791 Bistro & Banquets

Don't let this hidden gem pass you by!!! Located in Forest Hills golf club this Mediterranean restaurant offers atmosphere and some wonderful dishes. I would have liked the place to not be so cold inside and if there was better lighting to show where to enter but that was honestly the only down side. We tried A LOT of dishes and have to say the gyro and empanadas are definitely a standout (get the spicy mayo on the empanadas vs the salsa). The baklava was served warm which was a first for me and I loved it. They also offer hookah and have a full bar. Our waiter was amazing and the owner came out several times to check in us and even treated me to birthday dessert. I can not wait to come back and complete the rest of the menu.

Had a wonderful dining experience tonight with friends at The Vue 791 Bistro .This is a little hidden gem in the theater district of downtown Middletown . Service, food, atmosphere excellent. I'm giving this 4 stars because it's new, We will definitely come back, a must place to try when you're in the area....!

We came here over the thanksgiving holiday with our 96 year old grandmother ... the whole restaurant team showered her with attention, and when they found out that her 97th birthday was coming up, they brought out a beautiful surprise dessert for her!! Everyone absolutely loved their food, and the service was just wonderful. Would absolutely recommend!!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception here. It was amazing. Rania and Hatem are fantastic. Highly recommend!

Wow!!!! I honestly would rate this place 6 stars if it's an option. The food is fantastic, I have tired the chicken kefta and the salmon , wow it was so amazing. The sweets were soooo good as well . Love the staff so welcoming and professional. I would definitely recommend this place.

Had dinner with some girlfriends and we all loved VUE 791. The food was absolutely fabulous and it was evident that the dishes were thoughtfully prepared. I can't say enough good things about this place and can't wait to go back.

I planned a Christmas dinner for the ladies of my chorous and I want to go some place nice. I saw a good reviews. I met with the CO owner and the place was beautiful. We decided upon a menu for our banquet. it was not cheap for a banquet But the ladies In my group decided to pay the $37 for their dinner. there is also a $500 set up fee and another fee for tips for the service people Over and above the 18% gratuity that was added to our bill. We were served drinks and wine in plastic glasses there is no silverware on the tables it was in container at the beginning of the buffet table. I was very upset with the idea of drinking my wine which was $8 to $10 a glass and served in plastic. We ordered fried chicken as one of the main entrees it was not done it was very pink in the middle. We ran out of mashed potatoes they brought out French fries we ran out of numerous things on our buffet. I help clear tables the service staff was busy elsewhere. The food was mediocre at best. Ladies in my group were very upset with the service and the food as was I. We will not go back.
