I love going to Vonderhaars Market. My favorite time to go is when they have their meatloaf special. Omg!!! The meatloaf is always good there. Today's meatloaf somehow topped all the other times I've had there. The service was quick and everyone is so friendly. The store is always clean and very well organized. I like to look up and down all the aisles. They always have something tasty that catches my eye.

Some of the best lunch specials in town. The lunch specials arsenal Monday thru Friday. They always great sandwiches and almost any kind of bread you would want. Sandwiches are priced great and they offer boats head meats. Plus and I mean plus they always have great soups. Their chili is good l, they only put a little spaghetti in and it's perfectly spiced. I gave their in house made brats and dogs and are delicious. And sides , sides sides sides holy crap. Sooooo yummy. My favourite macaroni salad ever!!!!!!! I miss this place when I don't have it often!!!!

Vonderhaar's Market is a small local market that also is a catering company. They cater weddings & events and provide the casual dining for Playhouse in the Park. This is a great little market! There is a meat counter at the back of the store for getting fresh meats or a cold sandwich. The filet mignon steaks are fantastic. We also enjoy their house-made tortilla chips. There's daily lunch specials, house-made pasta & potato salads, beer & liquor, and fresh ready-made meals for the oven. Right now, during this pandemic, this store has been busier than ever and have had to adjust their hours to keep up. They've done a wonderful job with keeping the market stocked and providing food options when so many stores have empty shelves. I've always appreciated the good quality of the meat counter, the friendly service and the convenience of it being just down the street. I'm even more impressed now.

I'd never heard about Vonderhaar's Market until I was hankering for a sandwich and someone gave me a tip about really cheap, really good and really big sandwiches. Sold! The market itself is a small neighborhood market with a decent sized liquor section and all the other normal market stuff with some specialty items mixed in. The deli counter however, is what sets it apart for me. They have so many sandwich options and lots of small mix and match prepackaged bites to eat, including individual sized deserts from Servatiis. If you're interested in being able to try lots of little things at an affordable price then this is your place and everything is delicious. I've been back three times just to get the same egg salad sandwich because I can't get enough of it and they offer many more "old school" items that you wouldn't find at chain sandwich shops like olive, Dutch and pepper loafs, Head cheese, etc. Vonderhaars gets crowded around lunch and the counter staff are efficient and friendly and move the line along quickly. If you want a no frills but delicious sandwich check them out. They also sell their own premade meals to pop in the oven which look delicious too.

Vonderhaar's Market is more than a typical convenience store or market. It has a butchers' counter, liquor section, produce, goodies from Servatii Bakery and assorted dry goods, chips and crackers. A daily lunch is offered too, with such dishes as homemade soups, chicken with cream sauce, fried cod, and beef stir fry. The day's daily special is always posted on their Facebook page.Locally, it's a great place to go for a last minute ingredient and not have to brave a humongous grocery. With there being a meat department on site, there are great deals, even on filets, and the meat is always tender and delicious. Another favorite is something the market calls the "super burger." It's ground beef mixed with worchestshire, bleu cheese, and other flavor punches. Delicious.

Friendliest service from the deli to checkout. Choices are always fresh and delicious. Includes a grocery store with perishables and non-perishables. Good parking options. Quick in and out and they have inexpensive options if you don't want a full luncheon box to go. Love this place!

Vonderhaar's is absolutely the best meat market! prepared lunch & dinners are cooked perfect,reasonably priced & sooo mouth-watering! you gotta experience this place!
