Well Kept park kayaks to rent and lots of benches to rest with your pup on the lake trail. Lots of bird and ducks to see to. Beautiful day for a walk in the park

This park is HUGE. Ginormous. Massive. Other word for really, really big! The former broadcasting base for the Voice of America world service, they have since removed the broadcast towers and put together this huge space.Ball fields, playground, walking trails, parking for days and days. I had a great walk on one of the smoothly paved walking paths. The only downside is that there is only ONE entrance/exit. The others were gated closed and that means going all the way back. Booo![Review 18017 overall - 163 in Ohio - 1538 of 2022.]

Last weekend event in the park. Free parking. Safe area..easy to get to. There were food trucks and free live music. There was a tent for shade but not good view of the stage. We brought our our chairs with shade. Good place for events!

We came to enjoy nature on a blustery day! The paths are paved nicely and the scenery is pretty. It's a shame that all the traffic noise in the area detracts from it. The loop around the lake was nice but if you venture onto another path they end abruptly at the road. I saw that there were paddle boat and kayak rentals that seemed to be decently priced but the weather was WAY too cold so they weren't open. I saw where you have to buy a permit but didn't see anywhere to do so. The booths were unattended so it's possible you don't have to pay in the off season? I probably would not pay to have g out here but would definitely return if there is no charge.

A local park that is good at hiding its features. My first visit to this park was for the dog park. Two spacious play areas for small and large dogs which at each of my visits were well manicured. Lots of green grass and less mulch and gravel in that area. It provides a water fountain with dog bowls built in low for the pups. There are several soccer field which are more prominent in the park and lots of large crowds and tons of cars at times. Now, I've gone back for the walking path and this is where the hidden features come into play. Apparently there are multiple entrances (pedestrian and automotive) into the back from Cox Rd, Liberty Way and Butler Warren. All of the parks features are mostly separated by gravel paths and you'll most likely drive between them unless your in a bike. The walking path is closest and easily accessed from Liberty Way. It surrounds a pond with plenty of open space, flowers, trees and benches. The county offers some limited water sport rentals. A few reservable picnic areas and of course a play ground for the kids.

First time here for a Christnas party. Very nice facility with a fireplace clean restrooms. Park facilities people will serve drinks for a fee. Plenty of tables and AV equipment and a dance floor. This is close to VOA shopping and restaurants and Miami U.

The dog park is a nice break from where I have been going. Large areas for the dogs to be unleashed and to run and play. Grass is always maintained to a acceptable height. The are stone benches to dogs to jump up on or their human friends to sit on. At the entrance there is a nice watering station for the dogs to cool down after they have a great time of exercise. Also there is a small dog area (22 pounds or less) so they don't get intimidated by the larger dogs. Currently one of the dog areas is closed the let the grass fill back in so I guess they rotate the dog areas back and forth so the grass is full and not a mud hole. That's the good, now for the less positive side, there are very few trees, not shade and if you have dogs that overheat, this may not be the place to go in the warm/hot months. This time of year is fantastic for my English bulldog but summer is surely out of the question for us to do there. My biggest frustration is the lack of care from some dog owners and not cleaning up behind their furry friends. The Parks system has provided plenty of poop bags as you enter the dog park and there is no reason to not pick up whatever their pets leave.

I love this park! I enjoy going here to walk around the lake and enjoy the scenery. There are a lot of things for people to do if they choose to from boating, fishing, bird watching, there are play sets, and much more. The park is well maintained and beautiful! It is dog friendly and it also has a dog park too. There are also soccer fields and there are many events that go on here that you can attend. You should check them out!

The set up of this park for tournaments is ridiculous. Traffic out is unbelievable and they closed off the only other exit in order to collect payment. It took over an hour to get out of the park. After all these years this park has been open, how have they not improved their system? Worst park in the city to attend tournaments at!
