This place is a hidden gem! Quaint historic building nestled next to music hall made our anniversary celebration beautiful. The handmade pasta was something I've never had but it was deliciously different! The meatball appetizer is something we will definitely come back for. The servers were bubbly and informative. We asked for recommendations and they didn't disappoint. We will be back again to hopefully stay in the hotel above!

Went here on a Saturday night for the first time and was hugely disappointed. Ordered the focaccia as an app and it was hard and stale. They were out of not 1, not 2, but 3 of the first things I attempted to order. (You'd think the server would lead with this information). The pasta was so dry and stuck together. And the "spicy vodka" sauce was nothing more than the regular sauce with more chili pepper flakes in it. It tasted like it had been stuck at the bottom of a saucepan on the stove all day. To top it off, ordered a $68 bottle of wine and it was opened in the back somewhere and set on the table for us to pour ourselves. No bottle service? Seriously? Which would have been forgivable had it not been for everything else. One of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Go for a drink and some jazz. Don't eat there.

Great ambiance with music. But the food, is like tv dinners without the package. Very small menu of sorry Italian traditional dishes. They also tend to be out of what is on their limited menu.

Cool place but food was not good and service was untrained, nothing against the servers but they just didn't know it seemed.

We ate at Vivaldi's with another couple this evening. Our server was excellent, the food was fresh and delicious, and the jazz group was enjoyable. I recommend the fettuccine with Alfredo sauce and grilled chicken. I'm looking forward to returning soon. No complaints ....

this place not only has terrible service but the food is disgusting. my fettuccini Alfredo had hair in it and the staff was less than nice when I mentioned it. The food looks and tastes like it would make you ill. the gentleman sitting adjacent to us was complaining of his fish being undercooked and the server was incredibly rude in response. I ordered the fettuccini Alfredo and my server brought me ravioli with a red meat sauce, when I mentioned to her that I ordered fettuccini she responded with "I know, it's coming" I politely asked her why I had ravioli and she replied with "you don't want the ravioli?" confused I said no? the ravioli was less the appetizing in the way it looked and smelled. my husband and I couldn't couldn't get out of there fast enough. please do not go here

I was hoping other less than stellar reviews were one-offs, but no. Our taste might be discerning, but we found the food was bland and unremarkable. We ordered a salad, the eggplant, the ravioli, and the beans & greens. The entrees came minutes after the salad. The tables are so small there was barely room to put down the plates. The salad was undressed and it took a minute for the waitress to bring a dressing shaker which was slick with oil. By the time the salad was done our entrees started to cool. The eggplant was watery and lacked seasoning. The ravioli pasta was thick and not fully cooked through because it was so thick. I probably liked the beans & greens the most as they reminded me of a Tuscan dish. Other elements that were an indication of a potentially sub par experience was the fact that despite the restaurant being in a boutique hotel, the sidewalk out front wasn't shoveled adequately - making it a slick and dangerous entry into the building. The furniture design is poorly conceived, and the art on the walls looked really cheap and cheesy. Cincinnati has lots better restaurants for the money.
