Best fried chicken in town. Whenever I am in Greenville I either eat there or get some to go. Got a picnic pac today!

My husband and I had lunch there on a Saturday. There was a good amount of people there. I ordered the Broasted Chicken and it was awesome. It came with French fries and Coleslaw. I asked for green beans instead of fries but they brought it with fries. They did remove the fries when I mentioned it. The coleslaw was the best I've ever had. The green beans were canned with a few onions in it. They were bland. My husband had the Dandy Boy basket and he said it was the best hamburger he had ever eaten. We had pie for dessert. I had butterscotch. It was very thick and heavy. It tasted OK but I've had much better in Amish restaurants. My husband had peanut butter pie. It was good but not great. The place is outdated but clean. It was an enjoyable time. The restroom is small and not ADA accessible. We would come back as the food was good.

Terrible. Mac and cheese was tasteless and mushy. Coleslaw not good. I tried to improve the flavor with a pound of pepper and it didn't help. The woman at the counter looked sad and depressed. The whole restaurant interior was like a cafeteria from the 50's. Like straight from the 50's. Nothing was appetizing and I couldn't even finish the very small portion of day-glow orange mac and cheese. They shout your order over a microphone that was super loud. This place was seriously weird.

I understand Vint's is a staple of Greenville history, but it has not aged too well. Walk in order at the window. Take your number and drinks and sit for your food. I have had a few different items here. Chili spaghetti was good but I thought the noodles they used were a bit large. I have tried the fish and chips as well. The fish was done nicely but was very oily like it had not been properly drained or cooked in oil that was not hot enough. The fries were the same, not cold but limp and very oily. The green beans are very good though. One thing that really bothers me is the employees. I have never seen a restaurant where every employee looks and acts like they have taken cough syrup, fighting to go to sleep, and at the same time have a look like they are being forced at gun point to make food and serve customers. It's really depressing. They also call out your order over a microphone to the kitchen, and the entire restaurant. I remember Wendy's used to do this in the 1990s. Blinds in the dining area are large and air from the heat or AC blow through the room and every one of these blinds bang against the windows constantly. Please update slightly. I am not asking you to lose the history you have established in Greenville but once your old customer base dies off you wont have anyone left.

Farrington men stopped in for lunch today. I had the Rueben basket on rye bun excellent throw it up against any corporate Rueben any day. My sides for my baskets was cole slaw creamy style very good, the cup of chili was excellent and if it wasn't homemade I'd be surprised. Gpa had the Dandy double burger he said it was great sides were fries and coleslaw both were good. Son had the tenderloin sandwich basket with the chili and fries. This is the perfect example of an old school mom and pop diner stop in have a meal you won't be disappointed!

Excellent food for large groups and families. In town at a Hog show. Had it both days for lunch. Kids really enjoyed it.

Delicious food, and yummy desserts. It is a quaint restaurant with not many updates, which is fine for me. I like that it looks the same as when I was a child. They have baskets and I think their coleslaw is probably the best coleslaw, I have ever eaten. Chicken is really tasty, and the pies are something that will keep you coming back for more.

I grew up in Greenville but left after getting married. It's been years since I've visited but Vint's is part of what makes Greenville home to me. Everything was exactly as delicious as I remembered.

Oh my goodness! This was bad! Chicken fried steak, from some box, didn't even cover a 1/3 divided styrofoam plate. No real dishes, no real silverware. What family style restaurant serves their family on styrofoam plates and plastic ware!! Hubby's fish and chips, same. Came from a box. Don't you go to family restaurant to get home made food?! Need to change their name. Won't go back.

I didn't grow up in Darke county so I had never been to Vint's, my husband had me try it for the first time yesterday and I was shocked after walking into this vintage dive by one of the best fast food burger and fries. I would recommend if you were looking for a decent burger place to go to Vint's, but maybe dine in because it was a bit messy.
