Village Wines Of Glendale

We came to Cincy and realized we forgot wine! I ventured out and found Village Wines of Glendale. I loved talking with the man about his wine ventures and the wines in the shop. We went with a Zinfandel and came back the next day for another wine to have tonight. There is seating where for a $10 cork fee, you can drink it at the establishment. Or, on Friday nights if you buy a wine they are taste testing, it's a $5 cork fee. Or on Wednesday, it's a $0 cork fee. Love this place!

Fun find! They have a fairly wide range of wines from around the world and the staff are very knowledgeable! They offer flight tasting events most Fridays (be sure to pre register). We went to their bubbles tasting and were pleasantly surprised by the selection offered and the knowledgeable sommelier. Both have been a little hard to find since moving to Cincinnati. The flight was only $10 and we paid an extra $5 for the champagne option. We ordered a cheese plate which was well rounded and paired well. Other tables ordered entire meals which we didn't know was an option, it would have been nice to have seen a menu. We'll definitely return for more flight tastings and hope to purchase bottles of new finds.

Found Village Wines of Glendale after leaving nearby Jack Rabbit running store. Decided to participate in an wine tasting that was happening. Took my time during the tasting and browsed the selection of wines in store and also talked about locating wooden wine cases for storage of bottles at home. They are having a series of wine tastings from a few vineyards over the summer, and the Robust Reds and Barbecue themed event may bring me back.It's simply a wine store with comfortable lounge seating. Partnered with a wine bar next door you can spend an afternoon here if you wish. Tip: Glendale restaurant week is June 25th - 30th. Check out Village Wines or Piccolo wine room if your in town for that.

Review is for the wine bar area of this business. Nice quaint spot to meet friends for conversation and some good wine or craft beer prior to heading to dinner or after work. They have chalkboard specials on wine selections with a 2oz or 6oz pour. Too bad every neighborhood doesn't have a nice wine store and bar like this. Enjoy.

Such a cute and obscured wine spot! Love Love this place. They know us by name even the locals we met alway have great Convo with both locals and employees. On street parking is easy and the winery is always clean and organized. Great local food menu.

Tucked away in the square within Glendale's historic district, a very charming location for a wine shop, Village Wines of Glendale is one of the best wine shops that I've ever visited. They have tastings every Friday from 5 to 8, and often have other special tasting events. The staff is wonderful, and of course the wine selection is excellent. Also, there is an attached wine bar (Piccolo Wine Room), that you can find separately reviewed on Yelp. I highly recommend Village Wines of Glendale!

Nice little find in Glendale. Enjoyed wine and bites. Couldn't go wrong with the Coniglio Chardonnay. Burgers were tasty, too.
