The Garlic Cream Cheese Twice Baked Croissant and the Tiramisu Latte were delicious!!! I'll definitely be back to try more items. This place always has a line and very limited seating but it makes sense because it's very cozy inside and the food is A+ quality.

Been wanting to try this place and we finally got around to it! However don't go here when they are close to closing. Give yourself enough time to enjoy all things they have to offer. We were going there for coffee (latte specifically) but machines were off and all we could get was an americano which we weren't feeling but we still got a pastry and it was delicious we different will come back earlier to grab some coffee and try the other pastries. The guy who attended us was very nice still, and we enjoyed the ambiance of the place for the little amount of time we had. Can't wait to come back

Val's bakery had since gotten exceptionally famous since my last review. Alas, the quality is still quite superb. There's a reason why people lined up before stores opened. The owner is kind, and the shop is aesthetically pleasing. It's giving "main character in a movie runs a novel cafe that sold beautiful pastries and lil flowers and trinkets on the side with my best friend"

One of the cutest bakeries in the area. I also love that they serve coffee & tea. Their options are so unique and fun. I never know what's going to be available when I walk in because they're so popular but every thing is always good. I love the tiramisu cold brew - their cold brew in general is really good. Pastries aren't too sweet and they have savory options which I appreciate.

I've wanted to go here for a while and I am so happy I decided to check it out this morning! I got a basic butter croissant, a caprese croissant, and an iced matcha. First off, that was the best matcha I have ever had! The butter croissant was heavenly, and the caprese croissant exceeded every expectation. This has become my new favorite bakery and I will absolutely be coming back!

Amazing service. Never an issue. Amazing food and service. Coffee drinks are out of this world. Garlic cream cheese croissants and Nutella curffin are out of this world. Thank you to the owners and amazing baking staff and front of house staff!

My favorite bakery, not just in Dayton, but ever! I have been eating up these pastries since 2021 and they have brought me so much joy these last few years. They always keep customers on their toes with a seasonal menu that changes. Im always excited to see what they come up with next. They are one of the few places in Ohio that offer authentic, laminated pastries and I feel so lucky to have them close by. I highly recommend trying both the savory as well as sweet pastries as they both offer a unique experience. The drinks are also so so good and they make the best matcha in town.

Made a little Val's charcuterie on the board my bestie gave me for Christmas. Dayton: we do not deserve these light and fluffy confections. So. So. Yummy. Also! Their new location on St. Clair has room for sitting, snacking, and working on a laptop. Or reading. Or impressing your friends with your ELEVATED food pix. (IYKYK) Go there now. Thank me later.

Well worth the wait in line, even in the cold! The best pastries I've had around Dayton by far.

I don't even know where to start explaining how I have a low key crush on this place. I went to Val's before it got very popular. I'm happy for them, but also slightly sad bc now the secret is out and I literally have to time it right to get my hands on their precious baked goodness. I'm particularly fond of their croissant flavored anything and that caprese croissant has come from heaven, I swear. The workers are always super sweet. I love their coffee, too. The shop is adorable and decorative. Nice place to pop a squat in or outside while eating your awesome treats. It does get hella busy now that the cat is out of the bag on this place. Just be patient. I believe it's worth it and you'll see me happily lined up in the wee morn for my fix. If so, say hi to me and we can chat it up in line together while we salivate over our sweet selections.
